what does it mean if there is an objecton in a trade.does it mean you cant do it???????

It's called a "no-trade" clause that players can have built into their contract. It gives the player about to be traded the right to approve the trade, or decline it.
The last trade I saw get refused by a player, was Matt Williams, when Arizona tried to trade him to The Rockies.

Palmerio of the Rangers has done it as well as Juan Gonzales....
I guess they don't want to pick up and move the family if we were in the same situation.
