Also, if anybody tries to talk trash to you, mention my name to them and they will leave you alone. I got respect like that. just say "I know Lava" and they'll back up off.

OK Lava (or anyone who wants to answer this), how do you change the signature underneath the user name? For instance, mine reads "junior member", but I noticed other people have their own sig. I'm sure I'll be banging my head against the wall when the answer is revealed, but please help.:duh:

Go to the 'User CP" and in there you can change your 'title"

I think you need a minimum number of posts.

Make sure its nothing lame but make it catchy and you will make friends like that.

My sig says Kansan by birth, Bronco fan by choice. I bleed orange and blue all the way, as I have for over 20 years.

ALWAYS be able to back up your claim. Otherwise, just sit back and watch a pro like me.:D

This is my first post although I've visited the MB many times since I live in San Diego by default but bleed Bronco orange & blue by choice. I'm still in pain over the loss yesterday and trying to figure out what is going on with my Broncos. The local paper sports section today has a big picture of Mike Shanahan in the Who's Hot / Who's Not section (he's not) with a quote "No way the Broncos lose to the Bears in Denver. Time to pack your bags, sir." Any comments?

I think you are gonna fit right in here. Ask that question in the "general discussion" section

Hey thanks for the offer Lava. I really could use someone to show me the ropes. I'm kind of new at this boarding stuff and I'm getting eaten alive out there in the big boys board. I've come here for some refining.

I wasn't sure if I should grow up and be a smack talkin' troll or a mild manner "Clean game, no injuries" kind of troll. I think you have shown me the light. Smack talk is for losers!

I'm feeling more confident already. Any other advice for this rookie troll?

A troll is someone who wanders from board to board with nothing significant to say. That's me. I'm looking for an MB I can call home. I'm looking for people to respect my posts.

Hey, I thought you were the teacher and I was the student?

There's not a charge for your "boarding school," is there?

I have a serious question. Is this message board strickly for the art of smack talking, or is there any serious breakdown, and study of the bronco team and all that surrounds it?

The only value I have found in my short time here, is in a forum completely unrelated to football. I came here to learn about subtle nuances about the Broncos, that NFL analysist can't find, but fans know completely, and most of the threads (even outside the smack talk forum) are completely childish banter. (no offense)

It is discouraging as a newer member looking for education about a team he truely wants to learn about...

Yeah, I feel your pain. There's a lot of "Un-Square" people in these boards.

I'd go check out the local library for that education you're looking for.
