i was thinking of dropping Barlow for Cedric Benson whos available, and Pollard for Heath Miller, but do you think it's a good idea to pick up unproven rookies? What do ya think?

Good team but you might wanna start Boldin ahead of colbet. He's suppose to do pretty well this year since being moved to slot.

QUOTE]

QBs (10 of 10). You got the obvious best in Manning and a very solid #2 in Brooks. I'm guessing you probably took Manning pretty early, and I'm usually a fan of waiting later for QBs, but good players here none-the-less. I think Manning will still be the best Fantasy QB, but I think his numbers will be down considerably and will be a relative "dissappointment" to those who drafted him in the 1st round.

RBs (7 of 10). You've got potentially two #1s or two #2s with Portis and Barber since both of them are somewhat question marks. Portis is on a poor offense playing in a scheme/system that doesn't fit his style and size (although they're supposedly changing that this year). Barber is a question mark all-around...he could perform like he did last year or he could perform like he did in '03 (only 3 rushing TDs and 6 lost fumbles). Barlow really provides you no depth as he could be surplanted as the starter by Frank Gore. Not really bad on RBs, but not great either. You definilty need more/better depth here...especially considering Portis is somewhat injury prone.

WRs (8 of 10). I like your WRs. You got a decent #1 in Jackson, and Boldin may end up surpassing him as your best WR. Then you've got some solid role-players in Bruce and Colbert and an potential rookie sleeper in Williamson.

TE (9 of 10). A great starter in Crumpler and a good bye-week fill-in with Pollard.

K and DEF (9 of 10). Two great DEFs and solid kickers.

Overall I give you about an 8 of 10 overall, the average of the above would be just under 9 but I'll knock you down a point due to the fact some of your strongest points are the lowest scoring positions on your team (TE and DEF).

I think you'll be in the top half of your league.
