Yea, I know I missed the draft, but the CPU did pretty good for me except the QBs.

Ugh. For an eight team league I hate to say it's a pretty weak team. I know you said you didn't make the draft but the cpu didn't do you any favors. I'd give you a 5 on a scale of 1-10.

All of my WR's are "stars" for their respective teams.

No, all your WRs are not "stars" for their respective teams...except one.
P. Burress is in his first year with the Giants and has proven, while with Pittsburgh, that he has all the talent in the world but is a head-case as well.
A. Lelie is a good, young WR, but I wouldn't say he a "star" just yet. Up until this year he hasn't even been Denver's #1 WR.
D. Stallworth is similar to Burress. He has good talent but he keeps getting in his own way. He's the #2 WR on New Orleans behind J. Horn. Stallworth and "star" shouldn't be used in the same sentence.
L. Coles is a very good WR, but hasn't been consistent enough to be considered a star.
B. Edwards hasn't caught a regular season NFL pass yet...so there's no way he can be called a star.
Now, the one guy you have on your bench (who should be starting) that IS a star is Hines Ward. This guy is the epitome of the word star. He does everything to the highest level. When your teammates speak out on your behalf and demand the team sign you, you know you're a stud.

I've never seen Hines Ward doubled his entire career.

You haven't? Wow! I've seen him double-teamed in EVERY game he's played in over the last few years.

IMO 4 TDs does not qualify a receiver of being a 'star' :coffee:

Touchdowns alone should not be the sole criteria by which "stardom" is judged. The astute football fan realizes that Pittsburgh was a, run-first, pass-second offense. Much of that had to do with having a rookie QB, B. Roethlisberger, leading the team.
There are other things Ward does besides his ball-catching ability that makes him a star imo. He blocks downfield better than any other WR in the league. He's also a team leader on and off the field.
But if it's stats that does it for you:
Hines Ward-
'01- 94 receptions...1003 yds...4 TDs
'02- 112 receptions...1329 yds...12 TDs
'03- 95 receptions...1163 yds...10 TDs
'04- 80 receptions...1004 yds...4 TDs
Pretty solid stats for a guy that doesn't play on a team that likes to air-it-out. I wonder what type of stats Ward might have if he played for Indianapolis, Kansas City, or Green Bay, just to name a few?
Don't get me wrong, I'm not the head of the Hines Ward fan club or anything. I just hate hearing the word "star" given to players that haven't earned it.

In other words, last year he was the equivelant of 2001...
I was talking about FF as far as 'star' goes.
