Idle interest impels me to inquire:

How many threads must one horn in on (how many postings, that is [or is it frequency of postings?]) before one can alter one's status to something (anything) besides "Junior Member"? I'm a-tellin' you youngsters, it's too much irony for me. I ain't no spring chicken, y'know. :rolleyes:

Nononono...
Barrelman is *not* gone. He is merely taking a season off for his health. He had an anneurysm earlier this year that had him hospitalized. He's going through physical therapy & is getting a lot stronger.
Rumor has it he'll be in the stands for the Chefs game on Sunday, so long as he's feeling alright (I think it comes down to what his wife says). He is NOT, however, hanging it up for good.

No problem, wouldn't want that sort of rumor going around.

He was there yesterday, but did not dress out. He's still a little torn up, so he didn't come to the tailgate like normal. But we still love him & miss him!!! I think just his presence there helped the general "attitude" of the fans.
