I never heard of this guy until recently, but I expect we will all be hearing more and more about him. Every year you get a guy that steps up to a new level, and this might be a guy worth noting if he declares.
Jeff is a Jr. at Notre Dame, and has caught a td in 6 straight games, 9 on the season. He is 6-5 220 LBS and has some of the surest hands I have seen for a Jr. in college. This is a true RED ZONE playmaking prospect.
The highest I have seen him ranked is 8th in the nation for all wide outs, but I bet he works his way up to at least a 2nd rounder and would look great in a Bronco uniform. Take note....

yeah, hes a hell of a player, he can be a deep threat and outleap someone, its funny to think that he was #3 on the depth chart behind Maurice Stovall and Rhema McKnight, could you imagine if Rhema McKnight was healthy? Scary thought..
he would probably be a second round pick or something like that, hopefully for the orange and blue.
GO IRISH!!!

What about #21 on Georgia Tech? He had a superb game against North Carolina State, he is one of the top prospects.
I like the idea of Smajarjia, he is a great player with sure hands.

I believe you are speaking of Calvin Johnson and he isn't draft eligible. Trust me, if he could turn pro, his name would be all over the place. He is the most gifted wide receiver in the college game today, and what is most amazing about him is that he does all of this with one of the worst passing quarterbacks on a major team. Johnson can do it all, and is a cross between Larry Fitzgerald and Terrell Owens. He simply cannot be contained, unless the ball never makes it in the air, as was the case against Virginia Tech.

The shark? I wouldn't mind having him on team if he didn't look like a woman.

interesting to note that the possibility of Shannahan trading one our first round picks, and a player most likely to be cut this offseason (restricted FA), for a first and 2 rounder in 07. If shannahan goes thru his draft scenarios, and sees that he isnt happy with the options available with the 1st round pick hes thinking of, he will not hesitate to give it to a team willing to splurge for its future picks.
Calvin Johnson figures to be a top 10 pick in next years draft, and i would like to see Shannahan aggresively pursue future prospects more often like last years offseason by trading his 1st round pick for Washingtons.

agreed I feel the same way, this draft blows receiver talent wise but next year should be a good year for wideouts again.

Chad Jackson is a viable option for us.

I'd rather try and get Clavin Johnson next year...maybe trade a first rounder this year to a team Shanny thinks wont have a very good record.
