I would say Portis. I think Faulk is still nursing a sore knee and that is kind of scary in a back that is getting older and is coming off an injury plagued season.

Faulk has missed 2 games each of the past two seasons, and just turned 30. While he is still a great back, I'd go with Portis, who had a phenomenal year, without starting all the games.

I run a league with veteran owners and we just finished our draft. 1)R Williams 2) L Tomlinson 3)Faulk 4)Portis. Take this for what its worth but I was the #4 pick and am surprised and elated that Portis lasted to the #4 pick. I would have taken Portis over Faulk - look at last years numbers for each player and look at the potential of each team they play for, the nod has to go to Portis.

Now thats a no Brainer Falk is good real good but can be handled,
and stopped, we have did it plenty. Now on the other hand if he breaks a good one and picks up momentum you will be looking good if your're looking for points Falk will get you a few guarantee you that. Now on the other hand Clinton is way much better back than Faulk Clinton will have a day to be in awe of and will score big points with ease and comfort why? He'll go to the stadium ready willing and able to play football, and you can't say anything better than that summed up, go with Clinton Portis and on word I give goodluv2thebroncos. Portis will make you proud.
GO BRONCOS the best dam team in the NFL.

I'm wondering if you're just pissed because you can't tell if a word is spelled correct or not, because you don't know how to spell. About my writing did it concern you? Answer to that I think it did, let me reiterate my statement Falk is nowhere near as good as Clintin Portis, and if you would have known anything about the english language, I'm sure you wouldn't have to wonder where I learned to write or spell. I am now for certain that I learned in a far better school than you had no chance of getting in. You should rest your nerves about me darling cheer up its Bronco AZZ kicking time,by the way if you find a word that I misspelled bring it to my attention, I must've been in a hurry.

Wow, what's going on with this spelling issue? (I hope I don't make too many mistakes)
... Well I would take Portis over Faulk. I say that because Portis has the techniques to overcome alot of obstacles in the process of his running. For example, the game against the Chargers, Portis made a run that was Excellent. He cut back on the defense a couple of times, and still made a good enough number of yards. The boy is just good. Now that he is young, he is not only outstanding, but the more experience the better he wil get, so he will no doubt be better than Marshal and many of the RB's in the NFL.

First of all this should be a question about the more able Running Back, this should be a question of the more intelligent coaching staff.

Faulk and Portis are both good backs. Faulk is a more secure pick because he's been great before and we know what he can do. Portis is still teaching us what he can do, and it's been nothing but impressive so far. So, you shouldn't go wrong with either pick in a draft.

HOWEVER, Martz and his Rams coaching staff, if I can call them that, have not given the ball to Marshall Faulk!!!! Plain and simple, he's not getting the carries. Therefore, Portis is the better choice right now.

But the best Running back to have is Priest Holmes. He's an animal right now

Portis because he has a better team around him.

I would go with Clinton Portis Coming off a great year 1508 year and is behind a great o-line and faulk has been injured and will most likey stay that way for a while....
