Just an Idea

Just and idea. With all of the game threads that people start do you think that a game board would be good. I can't do anything but maybe a mod will see this and if we want one they might start one.

I actually kind of like your idea litis.

There has been some occasions where all I want to do is post in those silly game threads but curse me if I can't seem to find them among the jumble of ABF because they might be a little outdated. If they were organized into a seperate forum they may be easier to find.

I don't know, I could see some validity in it. Only thing is there would have to be some major member support for an idea like that and you probably wont get that here.

I think we should because there getting way out of control and getting very annoying and just add to the clutter around ABF

I agree. General Discussions is what gets cluttered. And the gameday thread is pretty cool, even though I am usually busy watching the game to post much in it. It's pretty cool to see a thread with a thousand + posts in only 24 hours.

The mods merge alot of the repeat threads in GD. And they delete the trash ones.

ABF was dead Sunday the few times I looked in.

I voted no on this idea. THIS is the Broncos board, where people can come to talk football, and it draws everybody in on gameday. Creating a whole new board would just take people away from here. It gets busy, but that's the goal of having the boards in the first place.

Further, I just dont see the Broncos taking the time to make another entire board. Your talking alot of time and money to create such a thing. Perhaps you meant another forum?

With all the problems the boards seem to be having lately, late PM notification, the entire thing not loading for several minutes, and the whole card program, now doesnt seem like a good time to abandon fixing those problems to start a whole new board.

That's not a bad idea! But we usually dont have such a rush of game threads. I was wondering why they all started popping up this past week or so.

Complacency with a good team perhaps? :eek:

From time to time, Admin will ask for ideas for new forums. After the season, he might again. Then would be the time to push for such an idea. It just might get the nod!


Edit..... And do it in Feedback, where he's more likely to spot it!

The word GAME is easily confused here. You start talking about game threads on a football board, it's easy to misunderstand.
