For almost all of the Broncos playoff games under Pat Bowlen, the endzones at Mile High got painted solid blue or orange.
The 1989 AFC Championship game was the first solid-color one, and it carried through to the last home playoff game the Broncos had (AFCC vs. NYJ) which was solid orange.
The endzones need to be either solid blue or orange (orange would be cooler IMO) for the game next weekend.
It just makes the playoff game feel more like the special event that it is.
