Call me crazy, but a number of times this week I have opportunities to go to the Bronco game saturday.
Now a friend has two tickets in section 311 row 2 and want me to buy one off him for $230.
I know its a playoff atmsphere and all but for some reason I cant get my self to give up 230 bucks.
Please convince me so I dont regret it! lol

1) It's the playoffs.
2) We'll end a dynasty
3) You'll feel at home with the other loud bronco fans
4) We'll be beating the Patriots
5) It's the Playoffs

Ok look at it this way.....make your lunch for work for two weeks, there is at least 100.00. Then you stay home one night instead of going out to party.
I wish going to the game was only costing me 230.00 dollars ;p

THIS IS AN OPPOTUNITY OF A LIFETIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THE 1ST PLAYOFF GAME AT INVESCO IN DENVERS HISTORY!!!!!
MAYBE THE ONLY HOME PLAYOFF GAME THIS SEASON!
HOW OFTEN DOES THIS CHANCE COME AROUND?????
i paid $285 for the 1st game against the pats and would do ANYTHING to be there again, to be around all the broncos fans as the stadium goes CRAZY and starts to shake as we END the dynasty and MAKE HISTORY
DO WHATEVER IT TAKES - or you will regret it

230 for a 300-level seat is not a bad deal at all...That's club level...I believe that is near where JWinn sits...
This is an opportunity of a lifetime...The FIRST playoff game at Invesco Field. It will be rocking in there, and you will be sulking if you're sitting at home having to watch it on tv...What if your tv goes out, or your electricity? Then you'll have to go to a bar or someplace else to watch it, and spend probably close to the same amount in buying shots after scores & whatnot...
Besides, if I can make it with this sinus infection (and it's a doozy - I'm starting to get a black eye from the pressure and haven't been able to hear out of my right ear all week) then you can dang sure make it for a measly 230 dollahs.
BlueDamsel
01-12-2006, 03:56 PM
...and furthermore, if you don't want to sit in the club level for fear of being presumed a whine & cheeser...you can buy that ticket and I'll trade you for my 500 level ticket...
I'll show the rest of the club level what making noise & being at a Bronco game is all about! ;)

Sam! You gotta do it! Crunch your budget and make it work.
I KNOW you bleed orange and blue (we all do! Broncomaniacs RULE
Eat frozen pizzas and burritos for a week, if you need to. Its a PLAYOFF game!
Imagine coming back here after the game and (whatever Pats fans remain) say..."You know when_____hit______. It was worse on the field than the TV! Why, you ask, Patsie loser? I WAS THERE!!!:cheeky:

How bout this......Rose bowl tickets $400-700 average. Lakers playoff tickets $600-1000 (back when they had shaq also).
230 is nothing for one of the best Bronco games in years!

Your team is in the playoffs, there in NO guarantee they'll be here next year or the year after, it's a good spot, we're underdogs, we're going to end the patsies and tom brady, what more do you need to hear? $230, i'd give 500 and i'd kill a homeless person.

live off ramen noodles for the next two weeks, don't pay the electric bill and use candles, or just don't use your lights so you get a tiny bill, walk to work to save on gas or car pool, sell an item on e-bay. Do what it takes man.

You folks are awsome, but your making me look like kenny from south park. lol and judging from the phone message that I just recieved from Blue, I just might end up like him. BTW girl your aint kidding about that cold, you didnt sound to good at all.
Anyway Im just superstious, I feel more at peace watching the game with my familly, kind of a tradition.
I do hear what all of you are saying and I really want to be there.
The only thing is, that this is a very important game and Im not so sure that I wouldnt enjoy it more being with my dad and my uncles.
But as we stand right now, most of you know that I'll more less end up on 17th and federal saturday night to join yall! Just tell me where the tail gate will be.

Sam, it really wasn't a choice. I'd love to have gone, but I have a final exam on Monday. And seeing as I'd need to fly from Denver to Boston the day before... not so good.
*** is wrong with my uni that they have to have exams after winter break? :ugh:

Be there in spirit my friend, I know this sounds dumb and you catagorize it as superstious but I actually feel that when watching the game, my intense yet positive attitude actually adds energy enough to help the Broncos take charge and put games away.
It sounds weird but I know of you feel it too about your own actions and feelings.
