Where would we be without this guy this year? He has been everything and more. By far the most dominant DB in the league. I feel bad for Big Ben this week because Champ will eat the young QB alive. While portis has been out looking for searching for his lost alter ego Champ has been making game changing plays. GO BRONCOS!!! DETROIT BOUND!

So many people bad mouthed Champ at the beginning of the season and as the year progressed, those comments and calling him "Chump" seemed to dwindle each week.
Bailey has been awesome and a key part of our defense no doubt. Portis had a great year for the Skins and they will improve next year. But the point of the trade shows that we got the better deal with our 1 2 punch in the backfield. Anderson and Bell certainly ran the ball well and I can't help but think that if we had kept Clinton and not made the trade, we would not be where we are today.
Bailey is the bomb!!

no kidding, i mean he has one 3 games for us this year alone. san diego, dallas, and this PLAYOFF game! i would make that trade 100 times over.
I don't care what anyone says, the Broncos won that trade. How many times has Champ made a game changing play this season?
CP is awesome (I still like the guy), but Champ is a player who helped take this team to the next level. Who knows what's in store :)

He really has been all we expect and more. To think all we gave away was clinton portis and a 3rd? rounder? Champ has turned this team around and has taught Foxworth and Williams a great deal. Bell and Anderson more than make up for the loss of Portis.

Bailey is the bomb!!He's still getting badmouthed by some of our dumber fans (bandwagon fans, I'm sure). Sometimes I just want to reach through the computer screen and slap 'em.

I have never said anything different than we got the better of this trade. Even when others were saying last year that Bailey gets burned and he's only living off his reputation. BS the guy is simply the best cover corner in the League. We got the better end the deal no doubt in my mind.

Champ is awesome, has won us numerous games this year as well as elivating the entire team to the point of greatness.
I still love CP and hope to see him do well in wash next year.

...add the amount of games won for us by Champ to the number won by Tatum Bell (the second round pick we got from Washington in that deal).
Now the trade looks even better.

I think Al or Rod said it best after the game about Champ and that is he should have been defensive player of the year. I know individual accolades don't mean much to the players but he deserved it. As good as Erlacher is, he has not won 3 games for the Bears this year, and look where the Bears are now.

As much as I hate to admit...I was one of those that doubted him. I actually considered him overrated and stated that loudly on this board after the KC loss. I have already posted my apology in its own thread here...I am humbled and in awe of #24...never again will I doubt Champ Bailey.

Those stupid individual rewards need to come after the post season is over. The regular season doesn't mean squat. Just ask Peyton.

idk he'll choke like every other CBEvery CB is going to give up the long catch now and again. It's bound to happen. This is also a passer friendly league which only proves how good Champ is.
BTW - quit being a coward and reveal what team you are a fan of (the den??? name gives it away that you aren't a Broncos fan)

Every corner in this league gets beat. The best corners make plays when the game is on the line. Champ is often left alone by himself against the opposing teams best receiver and he constantly makes plays for denver.

Champ turned our season around with the San Diego pick. He totally changed that game and got the Broncos on the right track.
In the Patriot game, Brady is throwing for the endzone, moving the ball quite efficiently and all of us in the stands are not happy with our defense at that time. One play Champ takes away the ball in the endzone and changes the entire game again.
There are so many plays that it is hard to tell of all of them I have seen this year but he has been unbelievable and when we need an interception to stop a drive he is there to do it. He also has good run backs after the interceptions.
Not only the interceptions but he can tackle with the best of them. He also does not miss many tackles and normally takes on the man one on one. I have also seen him tackle running backs and seen them driven back.
Last thing our young cornerbacks are all learning from him. They have the best example in the NFL and are learning quickly. Look at Darriant and Foxy they are just growing by leaps and bounds and that is because the tutilage of Champ Bailey. Before Champ it seemed like our corners would never learn and always got burned, look at them now.
