What happens now?
Do we need a new offensive line coach?
Do we need bigger offensive linemen?
Do we need a better blocking tailbacks, quick reaction to pick up the blitz?
Could it be Plummers fault?
He didnt have any protection today but when he did, he managed to turn the ball over anyway?

Do we help Gary pack and leave for texas, lol j/k.
Who knows what happens now but one thing for sure is, that we cant do anything about this debactle right now. The best thing for us to do is just relax, calm and have a drink. I luv Denver football but theres no reason to over stress about.
The Broncos did start make a good run towards then end, but they didnt have enough protection up front. Thats the bottom line, also Pittsburg just wanted this game alot more.
They displayed some tremedous heart and passion today and although Im not a Jerome Bettis fan. They wanted this game for him and they got.

Pittsburg: you guys wanted this game, you went out and got it! Congratulations!

Do the Broncos go after Owens?

We need a pass rusher. One that can change a game. And I'm starting to doubt Coyer.

But we DO NOT need a new quarterback.

I don't know what to do really. We have two freaking shutdown CBs and somehow our 3rd cornerback(who pretty much gets the easiest assignments) gets burned repeatedly. I mean if you can't even make up for just one simple "weakness," then I don't know if we'll ever have the talent to win.

This leads to one simple conclusion: our coaching staff needs a massive overhaul.

I would if they were smart. The Eagles sucked without Owens and they have the gall to blame him for their problems.

I do think a receiver with Owen's abilities would open up a lot more offensive options to us, but I dont want a spoiled brat on this team. We have very good chemistry, and it only takes 1 idiot to disrupt that.

Why blame one guy or another??

The team played their best,

Can a person say that they have never had a bad day at work??

NO!!

A real BRONCO fan is NOW getting ready for next year.

I hope all the players stay for one more year!!

I completely agree, I noticed the few times that we got pressure on big ben he could not convert. That was the key to a victory, but we couldnt do it!
Maybe we could go to belgium and recruit those rhiod taking beast from the strong man competitions!

Theres a few options here, for one I definately think we could use a new recievers coach.
Yes Rod Smith is great but I think that is more of his own doing, not that of a caoch. maybe in spirtual way, his coach could help him build confidence but thats it.
For a long time now, the broncos have had trouble getting open, they are not breaking away from the one on one coverages that they should be.
And yet when you the opposing teams offense, takes the field to pass they usually have a 5 to 10 yard cushion while making the catch.
You could bring this back to the fact that Denver plays alot of zone but even then, there shouldnt be such huge cushion.
I like Bob Slowik, I think hes a very big reason for the rookie cbs success this year, alot more of a reason than most of us think.
But at what point do you stop gambling with the zone coverages and just go man to man? I think we definately have the talent to win most of these battles and why not try it this way?
We werent very successful in the zone schemes anyway.
Sure its great to play zone so you could watch the QBs eyes and try to make a pick. But at the same time you are taking a very big gamble by let so many passes be completed.
Again INTs are great but the first priority should be to break up passes oppose to always gambling and hoping to male a pick.
I think theres alot of different things that could be done in defending the field.

Sure tell me to make these changes when I become head coach. lol its just the way I feel.
