You all are the most fair weather fans that there has ever been. You cry when things go wrong and jump on the wagon when things are good.
1. Jake Plummer and our defense is what got us this far. Jake has made a couple of huge steps in the right direction this year. I don't think that Pat's fans where calling for Brady's head after last weeks game and he played extremely bad.
2. Shanny is one of the best coaches in the league. Sure we got out-schemed and out coached today but teams lose. At the end of the day someone has to lose.
3. Not one bit of blame should be put on Foxworth. His job was to play a soft zone because he had no, absolutely none, safety help because Lynch or Fergeson one were hovering around the line of scrimmage. You can't ask a kid to make plays when he is that far off of the line. The times that he was in bump and run he played well.
4. We have 2 first round draft picks and several mid rounders and our team should improve overall going in to next season.
5. Bottom line is we lost. Live with it and grow a brain. If you are a true fan be upset, be really upset. But stop calling for players to be released. We are on the right track. We were the second best team in our conference and probably in the league.

I agree. Many fair weather fans here. We got beat by a team that definitely outplayed us today. We were 13 - 3 this year, and had a great year. I have been on the bandwagon since 1969, win or lose.

Finally a thread that has some intelligence behind it. I could not agree with you more on ALL counts.
MEDICAL ALERT: Denver hostpitals are overwhelmed with a rash of broken ankles just a mere minutes after the game.

You know what? Everything you say is correct. We do need to keep this in perspective. I have one major problem with the whole thing though - this team was playing the biggest game for the organization in 7 years and they came out flat! That, to me, is unforgiveable. Being outplayed. Losing the game. Those are part of sports. Not having any heart in the biggest game in your career isn't a part of sports.

Hey, its just football.
I brought out pictures of my daughter to look at to keep things in perspective. Would I rather the Broncos be in the Super Bowl or would I rather be with my daughter? Its a pretty easy decision.
I am proud of the Broncos year. It was much better than the prior 2 years.

Maybe now Jake will get a shave and a haircut. Hard to see what he looks like. Some are calling him the "Mad Mountain Plummer.

I do not disagree with anything that you have stated....Coyer had a terrible defense called today....he should be ashamed of himself...too many blitzes called when we should have been playing more man to man, because you cannot blitz everytime and expect to get to the quarterback...and Pittsburg's quarterback is the size of a linebacker, no we needed to play off the ball and try to confuse him with schemes that have worked in the past.....Shanahan knows how to win the big ones, but even he was soft on his playcalling today....and as for wanting players traded....I have never been a Plummer fan, I personally do not think he has what it takes to become a champion....he is too inconsistent to be Denver's quarterback...yes, his interceptions were down for the season, but for the most part, he really never had to play from behind this season, and when he did, we lost....thus, my feeling is, we need to find a quarterback who has true leadership skills who can take us all the way to the top....and sadly, Plummer does not possess those qualities....and I am not a fair weather fan....I still support my Broncos, but there are definitely areas that are lacking on this team that need addressing immediately, and one of them I'm sorry to say is the quarterback position....because as long as Plummer is there, no matter how much of a genius Shanahan is, Denver will always be dissed and cut down by the media, because our team is defined by our quarterback....and we don't have one yet.....
