Since we now have a general other sports forum, this is the place to go to talk about any play you just saw, any game your team just won, or anything you wish to share from a game you're watching.
Basically, stop and post here to say anything that's current from any sport.
A typical post here could look like this:
"Did ANYBODY else see that play Jeter just made?! Go Yankees, it's 4-1!"
Enjoy

Last night the Atlanta Thrashers blew a good opportunity to finally make the playoffs by losing in the 3rd period to the Caps in super Rookie Alex Ovechkin. Also Sindey Crosby of the Penguins became the youngest player in NHL history to score 100 points in 1 season and only the 2nd of all time. Dale Hawerchuk of the Winnipeg Jets was the other. :coffee:

I thought the guy that threw a syringe onto the field last week was hilarious!

Did anyone else notice the averages of the Mets hitters? There's no way those are going to continue. In the end, my bet is the Braves make it 15 in a row!

The Barry Bonds incident at Chase Field.
A guy put a note on some Cream bottle that read "Hey Barry here is the cream, signed Victor Konte"... He was arrested but on local sports radio the guy said the cops were high-fiving him, lol.

Yet sadly, he plays on the second best team in NYC.
You guys need to MAKE George be hands off. It's like it was in the early 90's. All talent, no heart.

True, but the yankees are prone to slow starts, once they get it going they're a scary team, big time.
Unfortunatly for them the division is alot tougher with the Jays getting better, it's going to really be a battle in the AL East.

I know you hate them but the Red Sox are looking very good so far as they have not even started to hit and are 10-4. This will be a three team race all year between Bos, NY and the Jays. Tampa and Balt are still horrible as usual. :coffee:

Yea, tampa and the O's are pretty terrible, the Red Sox have had a good start and the jays and yankees are pretty much hovering at around above .500, it should be a very interesting race though!
