A day after Kenyon Martin decided to sit out the second half of the Nuggets' Game 2 playoff loss at the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night, he was suspended for "conduct detrimental to the team."

For making the league's maximum salary, this guy hasn't done crap since he got here... He's either hurt or upset about something all the time. George Karl says he never wants to practice, and just wants to play in games... It sounds like even his teammates have given up on him--

So can they just cut him and get off the hook with his salary? I know the NBA is different than the NFL. But he's obviously not doin the team any good, and he's taking up all the salary cap... Get him outta here!

Good 'ol Bearcats. :D

K-Mart's a talented player, but the nature of NBA contracts lends itself to this kind of behavior. The guy's got no incentive to do anything once he signs on the dotted line.

Yea, K-mart has talent but I don't like him, way too cocky and as you can see not a team player at all. I just hope the raptors don't pick this guy up.... :ugh:

I agree that K-Marts injuries and attitude are A problem, but I don't think he's THE problem. When I watch this Nuggets team, I keep asking myself, "Who is the leader of this team?". Rarely do I see anyone getting on his teammates, or taking over a game. I don't know if it's lack of leadership, or an inability by Karl to get his team ready to play.

I really really hope the nuggets can get rid of this tool this offseason.
