I did not get the whole story, but I saw on ESPNs ticker that Foppa will be out till next year. I much as I like him, and respect his talent, I can't feel a little happy that he chased the money to Philly and he wont be ably to play and the do get the benefits of him on the Ice. Maybe that is why we not offer him more money to stay, do to him always being hurt

It's not his fault he bolted. It's the salary cap. We lost a ton of talent, but you can't blame Lacroix for letting Petey go, with all the injuries he's had in the past few years. (He just goes all out too much)

As much as I liked Forsberg when he was with the Avs, I was hoping he would flop as a Flyer. But I hate to see him injured.
It's kind of like that ex-girlfriend that you see out one night. As much as you loathed her for breaking up with you, you remember the good times, and you want to hook up, at least for the night. I guess what I'm saying is that I miss my ex-girlfriend Sarah. Oh........and Forsberg too........

As much as I did not like that he left the Avs. I did not like seeing this kind of injury to anyone. I wish him well and that he makes a full recovery. :D
