Lacroux out as Avs GM

Breaking News, Colorado Avalanche GM Perie Lacroux stepped down today as GM of the Colorado Avalanche, A newsconfrence is going on as I type. Man, this Stinks, the ducks win last night and now this, how much worse can it get??

On www.9news.com there is a link to the Press Confrence. From what I can gather, he will have somesort of position with the Avs, but he was being vague on the details

he will remain the team President and appoint a new GM.

He also will have a say in personel changes, i.e. trades and free agent accusations.

I thought most of his trades always worked out for the better.

Apparently the "big" thing going around is that the Colorado Avalanche will be totally different from the team on the ice this past year.

I don't know if that is for the better or for the worse.
