Well, not much more needs to be said. I love it when dumbasses like Wallace make "guarantees" they they'll win and then don't. Before this, I didn't really care about either team involved but now I'm pulling for the Cavs. Winning this one game was sweet but imagine how stupid Wallace would look if they ended up losing the series.

Go Cavaliers!!!!

Guarantees don't mean anything either way.
Teams play the games not the words.

Nope, they don't mean a thing. Which is why it's stupid for players to make them. Let your play do the talking.

Namath was at least original. And his team was a huge underdog.

Wallace was very unoriginal and he was on a heavy favorite. That's a lose-lose scenario when his team can't back up his words. :duh:

I just saw this quote from Wallace after the game:
Afterward, Wallace remained confident the Pistons would eventually put the Cavs away.

"I ain't worried about these cats," he said. "There's no way in hell they beat us in a series. They played well. I give them credit. We lost. We shot 30 percent and they had to play their best to beat us."
He just got his "guarantee" shoved down his throat and he immediately makes basically another guarantee. :duh:

Man, I SOOOO hope the Cavs win this series!

Not only was his guarentee wrong, but after the game he said "they won a game they needed to win, good for them, but there's no way in hell they are going to win this d**n series."

I hate the pistons to begin with, but now I'd love to see the Cavs win....

Oh, man! Wallace's total embarrassment is almost complete! The Cavs are going back home with a chance to end the series.

I still think the Pistons will be tough to beat but the Cavs have to be really confident right now. GO CAVS!!

Sheed is a 'has been'. I think it's funny how he brings his team down with him. Thts the diffrence between the Cavs and Pistons. The Cavs aren't selfish.
