Go Denver Broncos
Go Lelie
Go Javon
Go Tatum
Go Paymah
Go Browner
This year's camp will have battles at #3 receiver, RB, back-up TE, DE, #2 and 3 corner, punter, and maybe more. It should be exciting! Answers to our preseason debates are just around the corner.
That will be immediately followed by the debates over how the coaches screwed up and how we would change the depth chart.

This camp looks to be one of the most exciting in a while, although it did lose some "campy-ness" after leaving Greeley. I'm looking forward to the cornerback battles the most, along with the battle for the #3 receiving job. I am wondering who will be the tight end next to Alexander. . . and I'm wondering who our starting back will be -- but those battles don't excite me as much.
I'm looking very forward to seeing how my two babies, Brandon Marshall and Elvis Dumervil do in camps. Also, to see if Eslinger and Kuper can make the active roster.
Not-so-secretly, I'm hoping Foxworth beats out Darrent for the starting job -- which would mean Darrent could probably spend more times on returns. . .
If I was Mtn_man, I'd look forward to Jay Cutler beating out Jake Plummer. LOL! :D
But most importantly, I'm looking forward to the Broncos having an injury free training camp and pre-season. PLEASE!

I don't know about you guys, but I'm sure as heck ready to get this loss to Pitt burried behind us and make a run at that Super Bowl!!!!!!
I had such high hopes last year, but it looks even better and I look forward to enjoying every bit of it.
I'm also looking forward to see how the RB position turns out. I'm kind of rooting for Cedric Cobbs to come out of no where and surprise people. I think all around he might be the best back, he just needs to prove it.
I'm also looking forward to see how Javon returns from his injury and I as badly as anyone else want to see Darius Watts return to the top of the depth chart and prove he is worthy of being a Bronco. Plus, man o man is Brandon Marshall an exciting prospect.
BTW, who do you guys think will punt for us while Sauerbrunn is out and can the 2nd year guy out of Northern Arizona take over for good?
LET'S GO BRONCOS!!!!!!!!

Go Broncos!!
Can't wait to see these players up close and evaluate them with my own two eyes...no longer have to relly on some arm chair know-it-all telling me what I should think or feel about a player or two.
GO BRONCOS!
This training camp will have alot going on. We've got some serious battles for starting roster spots:
1) starting RB slot is open
2) No. 2 CB slot is up for grabs
3) No. 3 WR slot is open
4) We have a new wave of young talent that will be showcasing themselves
5) Oh yea.... starting TE slot is up for grabs!
Quite alot of interesting things to watch out for before pre-season starts. Let's get this ball moving!!!!!

You like Cedric Cobbs too? :D
I've seen what Tatum Bell can do and I've seen what Ron Dayne can do, but I haven't seen what Cedric Cobbs can do. The uncertainty surrounding him has made me look forward to seeing him play. The coaches are excited about him and I am too because we might have another diamond in the rough. Plus he sounds like a pretty good player.
I think Paul Ernster will punt for us too while Todd is gone, but how about when he comes back? I know Paul was struggling with his kickoffs early last yera, but the kids has a strong leg. What do you all think?
Man, you guys who get to go watch TC are lucky. I love watching the Broncos and watching our young talent play and compete against the wiley veterans. I wish I could go, but I have one problem......I live in Michigan. :ugh:

I always saw Cobbs as an anfterthought. Until I started watching some video of him back in college. Now, I cant wait to see what the guy can do on the field. I really think he is the complete package and could dominate in the number one spot here in Denver.
But dont get me wrong, I love Tatum too.

And then there were 4....
As to Cobbs, I'm interested to see him just because he's kind of an enigma. Shanny & Co. seem high on him but he didn't do a thing for the Pats even though Dillon was showing his age. It'll just be interesting to see if he's worthwhile or not.

As mentioned, Dillon had over 1600 yards Cobb's rookie season, and Cobbs started off the year hurt on the PUP. He was then released in training camp. I am sure at least part of that was the fact that Dillon looked like he still had plenty left in the tank, but it could have been purely based on Cobb's not performing well enough.

And then there were TWO!
BTW, when I said Cobbs didn't do much for the Pats, I meant in general. He didn't make good use of his backup carries in '04 and then the Pats didn't even think he was worth keeping around in '05, injury or not. Dillion was getting old I would have thought the Patriots would keep Cobbs if he had decent potential.
I'm not saying he can't work out for us. I'm just saying I'll have to wait and see how he plays over the next month before I can form a solid opinion on him. I'm intrigued to see what the Broncos saw in him. One team's trash is (hopefully) another team's treasure.
(I'm not calling Cobbs trash. It's an expression. ;))
