2007 Madden 360 what was thought broken, Not so much

Since i started a thread on the Bug and broke the bad news i thought i would start a thread on the new good but not great news. Since the other thread pointed out the fix to the HOF player glitch their is now a somewhat fix to the other one as well and you won't need to do anything. People over on some game forums got their hands on some advanced copies in LA and New York and word is that FATIGUE IS IN!!! the only problem that remains is that the bars in the play select will not reflect that and thus automatic substitutions will not happen and knowing exactly how tired a player is will be difficult. This is a big plus for me as now I will be the first to admit i overreacted a bit much against EA (though these bugs still shouldn't have gotten past QA and testing, and I still hate all EA stands for!) but now plan to pick the game up ince EA didn't totally F it up, so anyone who may have been on the fence before, this may help sway you back over on to EAs lawn.

Yeah, and it will be even better once the patch is available.

It was all a bit over-blown, not just here, but everyone sorta freaked out at first, all over the place.

Glad they got on it so quick, and shortly after we get the game, we should have a fix readily available. :beer:

Im not even going to bother with the 360 version this year, I refuse to beleive that over 1 and a half year they cant put all the franshise options and general modes from the current gens into a 'super system with so muc power and room it makes making the game so much easier'
So instead, i plan to buy the pc version, seeing as i traded my xbox in for the 360.
cheaper, more game modes, better franchise and no need to d/l patches to fix even the remotely basic things like fatigue..

Huh, you would think that the 360 would be so much better than PS2, but yet i know the graphics are and what not but how come the all around gameplay for almost all games on PS2 and the 360 are better on the PS2?

You would THINK that the 360 version would be just as good or better gameplay wise as the PS2 but it's not, that's why I'll stick to my PS2 until either the PS3 comes, or until they stop making madden for the PS2. IMO Last years 360 version sucked, and this years probably won't be much better. I can't wait until tomorrow at midnight.

Hmmm... the gameplay on the original Xbox is better than that of the ps2. Last years' 360 version was not that great, but since it was a rushed title, it was bound to be sub-par. Just try not to spread your biased views, unless you want to come right out and say you just dislike the Xbox.

^^ I loved madden on Xbox so much i decided to buy a 360 for madden and after 2 releases.. It still doesnt do it for me, for the time being, the 360 was a waste of money, oblivion had its moments, but i havnt played my 360 for months now, finished 'gun' and that was about it and even still, it took only a few hours.
Like i said before, im vertuing off onto the pc now for madden thou i wish to hell i never got the 360. depending on reviews of the ps3, if all good, id consider trading it in for sure.
Games are so much easier played on computer i think.

V1: Was little more than an old-gen game compatible with the 360. Anyone with any sense would have saved their money knowing this, or not thrown a hissy fit (like yourself) when it wasn't up to snuff. You knew what it would be before you bought it, if you didn't... How is that the system's fault?

V2: Hasn't even been released yet (although very close) and somehow you have a preminition of crappiness? Some idea that it's subpar without even seeing or playing the thing yet? Gimme a break.

Have fun with your PC gaming but the last thing you should be whining about is $$$, seeing as how PC gaming is uber-expensive (in comparison to the 360 or any other console), if you do it properly anyways.
