Ok, on my cbssportsline team, I have Willie Parker, Joseph Addai, Shaun Alexander, and Maurice Drew-Jones. I have Plaxico, D. Jackson, and Mushin Muhammed at WR, and L.J. Smith at TE.

I was looking to trade Muhsin Muhammed and L.J. Smith for a top-line TE.

Today I was offered Alge Crumpler and Willis McGahee for Shaun Alexander and L.J. Smith...what would you do?

Alge's been hot lately..will it keep up? It's probably more dependent on Vick..even so, he's still the #1 target in ATL regardless.
Willis Mcgahee has been a disappointment this year I'd say, only 1 touchdown this year. He's still 5th in the league in rushing, and playing GB and indy the next two weeks...very poor run defenses. He wouldn't even be my starter every week, since I have Addai and Parker.
However, Shaun Alexander can't even get on teh field of late..will he be his old self when he comes back? or will he be playing injured..he'll also be withou Matt Hasselback for some time.
Do I ask him to throw in Elam for Tynes as well? (He's got Elam on the bench)

I would take McGahee and Crumpler if he wants Alexander and Smith. Take it, who knows how good Alexander will be when he returns.

man, i think LJ Smith is an Elite TE.....but if you can get a better one with just trading him and Moose then do it.

I think Moose is gunna start cooling down, after Rex's hot start.

I definitely would not do that. LJ has been one of McNabb's favorite targets, and last week was his only bad game. Crumpler has had a couple good games, but I don't think he'll be much better than LJ. When Shaun comes back, he might not be amazing, but still better than Willis. only do a trade like that if you get Gates, or Colston if he counts as a TE in your league

Completely agree.

Well, as far as Alge and L.J. being equal, L.J. has 1 more yard on the season, and 3 less touchdowns.

McGahee wouldn't be starting every week either, and keep in mind, he is 5th in the league in rushing. Addai has been quite good this year, as has Willie Parker.

how big of a role does te play in your league, because you could potentially be giving up a ton of points if/when alexander comes back, for most likely considerably less for a te position. lj is good keep him.

imo i think with hasselback being injured sa will get more reps, yeah their line isnt what it was last year, but look at larry johnsons, he lost his full line almost and fullback, but is still dong good.

dont make the trade unless you get crumpy, mcgahee, and a top flight d,or te, or something else in return- dont forget you probably used a 1st on sa, is he really worth the draft position pts of crump and mcgahee

I would not accept the trade.

I have Crumpler and he has just recently caught fire. L.J. Smith is consistenly being targeted by McNabb and his stats show it.

I have Shaun Alexander and am anxiously waiting his return. In 3 games he had me 30 points, which is 10 PPG. (I get .1 for every yd and 6 pts a TD)

I have Fast Willie Parker also. He has carried the load I expected Alexander to carry. Be patient and reap the rewards of these 2 guys in 2 weeks.
