Here are the categories. Nominate 2 for each category and you can't nominate yourself. You can nominate someone for more than one category.

When you make your nominations this week, and then vote next week, please be sure in your e-mail to mention your user name at the end or beginning so I have an idea of who's sending what nominations.

Ok, a couple questions of clarification.

You say not to leave any blank. Does that mean if you leave any blank, then your whole nomination card is discarded?

Also, it says you have to put down two members per category. Again, if you don't put down two are all your nominations throw out?

There are a few categories that I don't have a clue about and if I have to put two, or in some cases even one, then it won't be a quality nomination, because I am just gong to have to just find a name that fits, regardless of whether it is best.

So, let me know if it is ok to send in a nomination card with some blanks and if it is ok to send in some with only one person nominated, instead of two.

I still haven't voted because nobody has answered our questions. Some of the categories are hard too for instance the age one. I don't know how old everyone is.

Wait. Whoa, whoa, whoa! What if we don't know enough about a given subject? I had one category that I didn't have a clue on (the best statistician, I think), and now my nominations are going to be thrown out because I didn't nominate anyone for that?

With as many categories and having to name two per category - I feel its a bad idea to throw out the whole card cuz you may not have an answer - the best person should win and if people are just putting in random names just to vote thats really not fair

I tend to agree.

On the second half, I just threw a few names in on a few of the catagories. I just couldnt think up who should REALLY get them, so I just guessed.


Didnt seem right to me.

I had trouble thinking ONE name for some of them, let alone a second.


Like Threadkiller for example. Painter isnt on much any more, and I just cant think of ANYONE who really qualifies for that title at this time.

I said a couple of mods, as we can really kill threads. Even though that wasnt the idea.

I think if people wish to nominate two, cool, but it should be a option.

Same with if people cant think of one for a certain catagory. Doesnt seem fair to toss the whole thing just because a person leave one or two out.

But this isnt my deal. Can I put OB420 twice for all of them? lol ;)

I think that a minimum requirement of 1 in each category would be good man. :beer:

that way, you dont get a flood of One-category emails or some such. I dunno.

Wait nominations are over - :( thats not right - there was way to much for me to do around xmas and with the SS and I wanted to vote - now im mad and upset and pouting - that wasnt very much time - there are a lot of categories and a whloe lot of people to tryt o figure out whom to pick
