pretty unrealistic, if two of those things happen we will be very lucky.
I think we all hope Jake will stay as a backup, and maybe he will. Should be interesting to see how that unfolds.
Dwight Freeney will cost too much and I heard he sucks against the run anyways. Go for a cheaper plug.
Two FA safeties? How about one through the draft (mid-rounder), and one FA (Ken Hamlin or Gibril Wilson especially would be nice). Cards won't let Adrian Wilson go and he's not a FA anyway.
I think we will see another good draft from Shanahan and Co., something like the one in my sig. ;)

Denver needs to
1. Fire the special teams coach, defensive coordinator and offensive coordinator in my opinion. Look at the facts, first our special teams just sucked this year and gave the average starting position to the other team on their 30 or 35 and we consistently started inside the 10 or 20. It is a pathetic unit that needs major revamping. The defensive coordinator is too stubborn to realize that his schemes sucked in the second half of the season and he refused to change anything. Coyer just consistently ran a vanilla scheme and never attacked and the teams became aware of that and changed up their schemes to attack us in the second half and Coyer continued to run his stupid defensive schemes that were obviously getting torched. I hated the schemes he ran, weak, no aggressive crap. FIRE COYER. We gave up an average of like 25 points through the second half of the season. The offensvice coordinator is also pretty bad in my opinion. I don't know how many times I saw a 3rd and 2 or 3rd and 1 and instead of pounding the ball down the opposing defense for the first, I see Plummer drop back and throw a bomb that was off by 5 yards. It is just stupid. We ran a terrible offense, especially with Plummer because Plummer is not a pocket passer, and we consistently played against Jake's strength. His play calling sucked. What they should do is try and hire Jim Mora as a defensive coordinator, bringin a young guy from a college team with fresh ideas and infuse some new blood into a stale system on both sides of the football. Shanahan, quit hiring your buddies from 10-12 years ago that were fired from other teams and bring in some new ideas. If this doesn't happend we are in for the same sort of season again or worse.
2. Get a pass rush, for the love of god. How many years have they had to fix that defensive line and it still is the same mediocre line year in and year out. Draft somebody, trade for somebody, sign somebody. I do not care just improve the situation. I am sick of seeing the opposing QB have 5 or six seconds to sit their and throw the ball to whomever he chooses. It sucks and they need to realize that beyond Dummervil, we have no pass rush.
3. Use the draft and free agency to fill up in o-line, d-line, safety, and RUNNINGBACK. Our backs this year were a joke compared to years past. Tatum is obviously not the answer. The final 3 games and he had 3 fumbles lost. Handing the opposing teams easy points. He was hurt for 3 or 4 games and only had 2 tds all year. Not a 25 carry top caliber back. Mike Bell is not the answer either. He is good in spot duty, but he is not a player to carry the running game. He did well for being an undrafted rookie, but we need a 25-30 carry a game back that can consistently churn out 100 yard games and give our offense some balance with Cutler, Walker and Marshall being our top offensive weapons next season. Get a back like Tuner from FA or draft a guy that can turn out to be the man next season. Also when you find a back, STICK WITH HIM. Let him ride out any bad games and give him the shot to develop. Quit switching backs every 2 games. We need a young safety to take over for Lynch or better yet two young guys because Fergeson is 31 or 32 and let them learn for a year or two and then take over. We need at least one young prospect that can come in and anchor the secondary in a few years with Champ.
Denver has a lot of things they need to accomplish to start moving in the right direction. We have a lot of young potential on the offensive side and we only need some final pieces to obtain a dominating offense if we have a new coordinator and our defense needs some youth and holes to plug if it is to get any better, and for god's sake get a new d-coordinator or switch up the scheme please!
R.I.P. Darrent Williams. You will be missed.

when thinking about who we want in free agency, we have to think about what we can afford. I just seen a chart that showed the broncos sitting somwhere around 7 mill over the cap. Not going to be able to afford to many big names with that so I say just keep who we got with the exception of 1 or 2 players and get better in the draft.

1) If we don't trade up to get Branch (if he comes out), I want Okoye
2) KGB DE frof Green Bay- would be a very cost effective move
3) Steal a safety in the 3rd round Merriweather or Weddle
4) Get Russel the former Minnesota RB with our 2nd pick in the third

What the hell? A punk? Really?
He's a great team guy...he's mouthy, but he's definitely the emotional leader. When he's on, so is everyone else.

Yea and the guy who did it turned up dead the next day. The guy was a murderer and Hammer was lucky to survive being blindsided like he was.
With that and DW's murder, it makes you wonder how these guys can roam free...
1)give me Ted Ginn!!! (youuuu you can seee ee him but you can never reach him)
2)Art Shell as defensive coordinator
3)Pass Rush.
4)a OL that can protect very well Jay Cutler.
5)a power RB.
are you sure Santa its gonna read this?

I would really like to see them try and get adrian peterson from oklahoma St. (if he decides to join draft) he is a good cutback runner and has good breaking tackle ability and he has good speed.
