2006 was the year of Broncomania for me - I'd never participated in a message board before, and certainly never had as much fun on the internet before I started coming here. Sure, I was having fun reading my web comics and looking at the news, but coming here added a new level of interaction to the web.

So here's to everyone that made this place great for me! And if I forget anyone, well... sorry. ;) It's one in the freakin' morning, and you can yell at me when I'm more awake.

LordTrychon: Probably my best dude on the board, and the guy that made me feel most welcome when I first got started. In a way, all the trouble I've caused is all your fault! :cheeky:
HisWife: Wow! What an arrival! Probably the craziest success story on the board... but talking to you, there's little reason to wonder why.
BuffBroncFan: I like your willingness to challenge authority without being disrespectful about it. Also, you're another Sopranos nut, and you got me into some pretty sweet music, so thanks!

These are members I completely enjoy and I consider the rocks of the board.
They all have a sense of humor, some I don't always see eye-to-eye with, but I
appreciate those differences and consider them to be my friends:

Skywalker - For diagnosing me with senility. She's intelligent, funny, and my favorite to banter back and forth with in pm's.
Snapping Turtle - Lots of hutspa and spunk. Intelligent and funny. Good hearted.
T140 - I was sorry to see her not get nominated, as she's a class act. And I really look forward to her wolf stories and experiences, as they are very moving. She's a good writer....hope you consider that in your future T140.
BanjoPicker1 - I wake up to Matt a few times a week. He understands I like my OJ with high pulp and I enjoy bluegrass music. He's a super guy. He's a little shy about posting, but as good as they come!
Jaws - Personal favorite, I never see that changing. I would defend her in a heartbeat. I only tease her in good fun, don't mistake it's just in fun. I've got her back. She's one of the best people in the heart I've ever met. She's GOLD. Okay, and sometimes pretty funny too.
Denver Native - Another very classy lady on the boards. Another good friend in the making!
Kap- Funny, compassionate, doesn't ride fences in her opinions, and she lets me sneak some whiskey from time to time (pretending not to notice).
OB420 - She's sassy, funny, good-hearted, and doesn't ride fences. She's real as they come. She'll boost you up or rip your head off, it's just up to you. If she rips your head off, you probably deserve it. She's overworked, over stressed, and needs to win the lottery....she deserves to win the lottery.
KCL - She was my first friend on the board and good sense of humor.
JWinn - Fascinating, adventurous, good humored, posts all over the board.
Jared - Wish we saw more of him again. Confident, family-oriented, funny and he too posts all over the board.
Javalon - Quiet, strong-type. I enjoy his football posts in LR very much.
Den-21 (Twin) - Personal favorite, afterall, he's my twin! Cream of the crop Brit! Great sense of humor, hard worker, family-oriented, and loves sharing spy stories with me! Deeply connected to his son, which I admire.
WhoDey - I consider my good friend. I've never told you WD that I was offered a job in High School as a journalist for the paper and yearbook, and due to my severe shyness...I turned it down. Biggest regret to this day in my life. I'm your biggest supporter at succeeding in your writing career. I still would like to write myself one day. Best wishes to you! You make disagreeing fun, and we really don't agree on much with p&r, but you make those conversations very thought provoking and great fun for me!
Reidman - Another favorite of mine. Good hearted and good humored.
AZSnakeFan - The ROCK of the board and the rock of his friends. He adds color and meaning to life. He's as tough as they come with the biggest heart within. He reminds people what life is all about and is simply encouraging. Faithfulness and loyalty have profound meaning to AZ, along with love of country and remembering those who have watched our backs and those who continue to watch our backs in this country. I respect him profoundly so. I would defend him with all I have.
Topscribe - He's older, wiser, and more patient than me. Another huge ROCK on the board, rather some realize it or not. He's generous and giving in his attitude, so if you get on his bad side, I will fully believe you deserve to be there.
RC - My favorite mule. Stubborn and head-strong. Good hearted, patriotic, has the love of God within, and funny. He's just a little cranky some days on the board. He's another rock of the community.
Elway - Funny and head-strong. I enjoy his posts re football very much. Another Rock of the board.
WTM - I probably enjoy his football posts the most. He's another rock of the board and a leader on the board. He doesn't mence words on his opinion. He has a good heart and a great sense of humor. He's steady and reliable.
LT - My "I don't like stats guy" and I love him for that. We can get flooded with stats at times. He's a loyal bronco fan. Great dry sense of humor. Very good hearted.
BF13 - The one who can take my breath away with his sense of humor and quick-witted responses. I voted for him for funniest board member. Under all that joking, you can tell lies a heart of gold. He has the best sense of humor about himself as well, and is a good reminder to everyone, not to take yourself too seriously. One day....I see him doing great things.
B1 - Another one I completely enjoy on the board. Need to see you more often!
XXBXX - He is seriously funny.
Nas - Talk about a good heart....this guy has a giant heart! He doesn't post nearly enough in my opinion. He adds a calmness and peacefulness to potentially volatile situations in a thread. He understates himself. True blue as well. He's going to be very important to this board as time goes on and no doubt, All Pro.
TXBronc - He's a football ROCK! Even though I often do not agree with his opinion on specific directions the team is going, I really enjoy his posts very much, and there's a lot to be gained in knowledge from reading his posts.
Gem = Spunky, fun, and just really enjoy her posts a lot.
Tned - Another football ROCK. I appreciate his heart-felt posts regarding our team. His open-mindedness to consider other possibilities, and his openness to want to hear how other people think, even if they don't agree with his opinion. He's funny and fun-loving, and one of my personal favorites in the LR.
Cinny - Well, Cinny. A definite personal favorite of mine. Talk about funny, gracious, open, spontaneous, and good-hearted....this guy has it all. He's passionate about his football and about his friends. Good luck on the cartoons, because you are definitely talented, Cinny.
Anton - Spontaneous through and through! He will say ANYTHING that comes to mind at anytime. He's a good friend and to me, an important part of ABF. There is no one he immulates, he's his own person, for better or for worse. He doesn't need approval or pats on the back. He's just Anton, pure of heart. He's our Lion King.
Frenchie - He's become my bridge for America and France. We have good discussions about politics and religion and each other's lives. He gives me bisous on bad days and champagne on any day I'd like some. He is my friend, and I've appreciated him very much.
Eman - Wow. He's profoundly a good-hearted person. He's truly a leader. He guides people, advises people, and humors most of us on the board. He's our welcome committee, our encourager, and our reminder to be good people. He states what he thinks or feels about an issue, without taking away from another's opinion. He has dignity and gives it back in nearly every word. Truly unique person. My friend.
Day1BroncoFan - I'm still getting to know him, but really enjoy his posts very much, he's informative, he's patriotic, he's funny, he has a wide-range of interests in conversations, and he adds a lot to the ABF forum, especially. This is another All-Pro in the making.
Horsesense - He's one of my favorites as well. He's funny, involved, and just all around fun to mess with in ABF for me.
armedequation - One of my favorite Cafe buddies, who I just enjoy running into and shooting the breeze with whenever possible. This is one of the nicest guys you could ever meet IMO.
BFI - Fun to joke with. She'll talk about nearly anything (within the Coc of course), and she's going to make a great mom (maybe already is?), and I think she is very fair-minded. Just enjoy her a great deal.
Summerz - She's always cheerful to me, plain spoken, and steady. She's another one of my favorites that I just don't run into enough on the board.
Alan - He's Irish and full of the ****ens. He has a great sense of humor and takes life very seriously. He's one of my LR and Cafe pals.

WhoDey: One of the few people I have 'talked' to (IM) outside the board. Probably has the most clout of anyone on the boards and good taste in music.

Med: As Whodey said, probably the nicest guy on the boards and a fellow hockey fan.

Scribe: We haven't interacted much recently, but the first person to really set me straight and let me know what the boards are all about.

WA: Funny dude, and generally a reliable source of info, his posts are always a must read in GD.

Cinn: Hails from the Peoples Republic of Boulder, ah, I miss my carefree youth... But I'm with Whodey again, a little too scandalous for my tastes.

JWinn: Set me straight in some of my more brash and immature moments... Always stays civil, another poster with well deserved clout.

LT & TDK: Some of the funnier posters on the boards and both good guys.

Eldritch: Funny and intelligent. I miss hearing the view from the right.

Nas: Good guy in general, good poster.

Nick7: Fellow metal fan who's got an opinion about everything (kinda like me).

BF13: Funny guy, most likely to post something that has nothing to do with anything.

BFI, HW, KC Lady, GEM, Jaws, Summerz: All vey nice, thoughtful posters... Quick to extend a kind word or helping hand. Great job in keeping the boards balanced.

In-Com-Plete: Fellow mafia buff, great taste in movies and funny in general.

E: The original nice guy and peacemaker. Hope all is going well with your recovery.

Jared: One of the more thoughtful posters around, and good at explaining and justifying his actions as a mod.

WTM: One of the first people I mixed it up with when I got here... Always stays civil.

rc: The most stubborn guy that I don't know. :D

I know what you mean about being worried you missed someone, but being the years-end....it's kind of nice to reflect back and let some of those you enjoy so much know that you do, isn't it? This board is so much more enjoyable than so many I've read and looked at, this is just a really great place overall. Why I also enjoy reading yours....I learn something about another poster I had not a clue about. For example...Charlie Brown being a history buff. Now that I know that, I will pay closer attention to that in the future! Everyone together, just enhances life and makes it a bit brighter. ;)

Second I would like to thank all the MODS. Great job keeping this place going. Lets not forget about the Mods who retired earlier this year. You have made a valuable contribution to the boards and have made it a better place.

Third I would like to say thank you to all the members who have more cp bars than me. You are the ones who sets precident and you have value to all your posts. Because of you we all become better posters.

Topscribe - My first real friend on this board. He lived through a lot of times I wish I could have been around to witness. I didn't grow up with Jim Brown, Top did. Instead I grew up with Metcalf, great in his own right. But not even close to the calliber of Jim Brown.

Medford - My second real friend on this board. Have had some interesting discussions in the past.

DevilSpawn - Haven't spoken with you much. But I have one word for you. Like the King of Chins himself said (Bruce Campbell) in the Evil Dead series, 'Groovy'. I love that series and I figured that it would be appropriate to have a quote from there. Speaking of Campbell, my first sig here at B-Mania was of Campbell :)

Lorcrust - Cool kid who happens to like the Ravens as well as the Broncos. Have had some nice discussions and talk a bit.

2006 was the year of Broncomania for me - I'd never participated in a message board before, and certainly never had as much fun on the internet before I started coming here. Sure, I was having fun reading my web comics and looking at the news, but coming here added a new level of interaction to the web.

Well truthfully it's somewhat overwhelming to decide who to give a shout out to...

There are so many posters here who I enjoy hearing from. Mostly reading is my game, I'm mostly a lurker on here which is one reason I might not make too much of an impression on most people. Basically thanks to all of Broncomania for an interesting year of reading and a bit of responding. You all provide an interesting extension to the internet, give me something to do whenever I'm incredibly bored.
I'm not really very good at remembering who has made me laugh, but that's always something I appreciate.

I really can't make a huge list... just a few people who randomly stick up in my head...

Bf-13- enjoy reading your songs/poems and your posts!

Johnny Law Man- Love all the smack threads, love all the rhyme threads, one in the same. Stellar idea and some good alliteration and vocabulary use. Lol, sometimes I wonder at those thread titles. you've got some skill when it comes to rhymes and I'm sure you're a great cop!

His Wife- How can I not put in one of the most interesting posters here? You start some crazy threads and provide some very odd information sometimes, but I do always enjoy hearing from you. And FYI I've been considering a career in writing since, oh 2nd grade? Awesome poster and person.

All he needs to make a bronco sig is a pumpkin and some blue paint and maybe some fruit loops or something.He's very mature and intelligent. I like how he starts things like his fantasy football league and xbox madden leagues. Keep up the good work

DawgFanatic: High Quality poster. He is a very cool person. Loyal Cleveland Frowns and i mean Browns fan. Also he likes those Phoenix Suns who are a deadly NBA team but of course my Wizards beat them. He is funny and has knowledge of both sports.

Well i wish I could sit here and list everyone and be as thoughtful as HW. HW, that was a great post and very thoughtful of everyone.

I can say I have a lot of friends on here and even a few GREAT friends.

I have had a few run-in's with posters on here as well but that does not mean I don't respect them.

I think every person who joins this board has something to add in their own way and a wide variety of topics. Its the mix of different ages, gender, and personalities that really makes this place run.

Some enjoy the ABF, some enjoy GD, and some prefer to smack. That is what makes this such a fun and exciting place to visit. We are all different, yet very much the same...even if we cheer for a different team on sunday. ;)

And WhoDey, i agree...we used to hash it out in P&R but that was a different time and I am glad to see we could be mature enough to move on from our differences regarding those topics and communicate well on this board.

Thanks to the mods and admin for putting up with all the craziness at times by me and everyone else.
