With Darrent's passing, how do you think it will affect our drafting policy? I trust Paymah to be a solid 3rd CB but I wouldn't mind seeing the addition of another one. Whereas before I thought it a real possibility that we may pick up a RB in the 1st, now I think that we will go DL so that the tragically weakend secondary has an easier job (throw in Lynch's inability to cover a book but still hit well) and I think the pressure up front is all the more important.
Also, what happens with the Broncos after his death. Do we get any sort of draft pick compensation or is that not appropriate in this case. If they are solely dolled out for FA exits to what extent will Darrent's death convert a potential 4th round pick into a 3rd or something like that? Also, what happens in terms of his contract, do the Broncos still have to pay out a signing bonus, I assume not but just wondering?

To tell you the truth, I think we're fine with who we've got.
I just feel so bad for Darrent for the way I talked to him.

Just stand-by on the replacement plans people. Seriously!
I dont really think it is totally wrong to ask. He isn't asking about replacing Darrent as a person and in the minds and heart of Denver, but addressing the position that was left in question due to the events. And if you think about it when Mikey and everyone sit down it will be a serious question they have to ask.
As a football team we have to continue to look forward while remembering who got us this far. Darrent will never be replaced simply because he meant a lot to all of us. He kind of seemed to me like everyones younger brother. The guy you jus want to kind of help out and hang with.

I think we are fine with the CB's we have. Foxworth has proven that he can play. Paymah just needs more playing time. Cox should play CB, he's good in coverage, but not as a saftey. We have pretty good depth at DB, so everything should be fine.
