I hope the Broncos players can grieve and heal in peace, and whatever they decide to do with their careers is fine with me. Im wondering what kind of effect Darrents horrible and senseless murder will have on the veterans of the Broncos who are at the end of their careers such as Nalen, Lynch and Rod Smith.

I hope they can continue to play into the future, but if they decide to retire I would understand. If they do, this tragic event could be the end of an era and would create glaring holes in the team not only from a performance aspect, but also team leadership.

I don't think so. If anything...maybe it'll spur the whole team onto the SB next year. Next season will be played for Darrent by every member on the team I'm sure.

It's one of those strange ones that I don't think there's an answer to............every individual is different.

It's possible some may decide to retire, whereas some may, if you'll excuse the flippancy, come back to 'Win one for the Gipper'

Every player will have to make up their own mind, and I wouldn't be suprised either way
