Yes... I do. Chad Pennington loves to throw to his FB, and Leonard played HB as a feature role until this last year with Ray Rice taking that job. He'd be great depth running th ball for a Jets team that lost Curtis Martin and a power back to compliment Leon Washington, along with opening up holes for Washington's shifty style of running to get into the open.

Power Back and good at running the ball- both the Jets need
Great Blocker- helps Leon Washington who doesn't have that power himself
Great at catching out of the backfield- Pennington loves to throw to his FB
New Coach- Who knows how he'll draft, but Leondard fills mutliple holes, not just a FB.

I can see a FB going in the first round if he also plays HB and runs and catches that well along with his blocking ability.

Yeah... I actually thought it out instead of just posting big name players. Crazy, huh?

If Woodley is still on the board at our pick he is much better value than Taylor who imo is a lil overrated. There are plenty more talented Tackles later in the draft than ends and imo if we got a top 4 end available I hope we take it.

If we don't move up to get Branch, I want Okoye He is only 19 already a 1st round talent and very smart graduating college @ 19. I think he will be special.

If Woodley is still available at that spot, I'd JUMP at the chance to get him.

BTW, #31 had me laughing. If that comes true, there will be riots in Chicago. Bears fans wanting Samardzija to play football. Cubs fans wanting him to play baseball. And I still believe, no way he can play both.

I actually thought about that, and I have no idea what he'll decide to do after college.

I'm restructuring the 1st round with us grabbing Woodley right now, along with getting other rounds.

Great draft, and I like the Broncos' pick.

I also like the NY Jets' pick. Leon Washington is here to stay, and adding Leonard to the mix would give NY a nice combo.

Only problems I have are:

-Charles Johnson that high? I think he'll have to do some work to get that high...not out of the question, however.

-GB is close to re-signing Green (plus they have two solid, young guys as well), so I'm not sure Lynch would be the pick there.

-Levi Brown seems a little low to me at 30.

-I don't think CHI will take a wideout in round 1. They've got two solid, young players plus an adequate slot option...and Moose might play for a while longer. I'd bet that OLB is the pick there...Lawrence Timmons or Rufus Alexander, maybe.

Overall though, that's a great early-mock and most of the picks look very realistic. Looking forward to the rest...

I'd take that also. Woodley has been impressive every time I've watched him...he looks like he's got "it." He even looks strong enough to line up on both ends too, which is a serious bonus in my book.

Make my selection Lousiville's DT Okoye. A 19 yr old beast of a DT!

Okoye would be cool...He'd be right at home on the line with Dumervil.

A couple of initial thought....and BTW, I'm still in the very early stages of putting my own together:

- I think Peterson could very easily end up with the Browns, but I think they'd trade down to get him. With the lack of 1st round talent in the backfield, and the uncertainty with his injury, I see him falling to 7-10 or so.

- I see Russell going higher. Between 7-9, you have 3 teams looking for a long term answer at QB. I see Russell going somewhere in that area, and whoever gets him, may well be a short-term stop for Plummer to fill the gap until Russell is ready.

- There are very few teams with RB need in the back half of the first round, but somehow, I don't see Kenny Irons slipping out of the first. In fact, I could see the Browns, Raiders, or Cardinals moving up from the early second, to snag him at the end of the first.

Just a few thoughts....great first mock though.

3. Browns- Adrian Peterson - RB - Oklahoma

Great, an offensive lineman. Just what we need. Thank you so much for filling a need. The offensive line is absolutely horrid and no QB has a chance nor does any running back have a chance behind that horrid line.

Oh, wait a minute. You put Adrian Peterson. Sure, great pick if he can play OG. But, horrid pick if he can't.

/SARCASM

The offensive line needs to be a priority. Adrian Peterson is injury prone and behind an offensive line that will allow him lots of opportunities at getting laid out in the backfield isn't a great idea.
