Hey guys I have a couple names to put out here.... Tell me what you think and put down your own:

Ricky Manning Jr. (CHI) - Big play corner to put opposite Champ.

Tractor Traylor (MIA) - Could come back for an encore. Put him in the middle with Warren and we might be better against the run.

Michael Lewis (PHI) - Could be a decent option because he can return kicks and play cover safety.

Boss Bailey (DET) - This is more a dream pick-up for Boss and Champ to play on the same team. But unless we move to a 3-4 this won't happen. That would take Traylor off this list also.

Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila (GB) - This should be our target for pass rushing DE if we don't get one in the draft. Although he has been a little off lately maybe he can regain his form with a new team. He also could be cheaper then say Jared Allen or Jason Taylor.

Asante Samuel (NE) - What a pickup this would be. Obviously he will be hot on the market if he chooses to leave NE. BUt they have lost players recently due to not "Showing them the money!" :fight: So he could be an option but we'll have to pay lots for him.

Daniel Graham (NE) - I don't necessarily know if we need a TE but this would be a great option to go with. Him and Scheff would definitely stretch the field for Cutler.

Bethel Johnson (MIN) - This guy used to be automatic in the return game. If he still is I say we try to get him. If we need anything we need a KR/PR because I am tired of seeing us start in our own end-zone.

Obviously most of these upgrade the defense. All of these also are UFA's until the RFA's become UFA's I would go with this list. We do need RB and OL help but I think we should address that in the draft. We have vets at OL and I don't think we should spend big money on other vet OL's. Also this is off of a web sites FA's so hopefully they are still accurate.

I agree with KGB and hope we draft Okoye out of Louisville

I disagree with picking up CBs when Foxy has shown a hell of a lot of promise. We do need safety help, I think a complete, young SS should be high on the agenda if there's one available or we draft him. Samuel...well, he's a ballhawk. A roasted ballhawk. Makes big plays, gives up big plays.

I'd like to see us picking up a complete package at DE in the same vain as Pryce, Peppers, Justin Smith etc. Maybe a draftee, but the best option would be a proven young end, DE is always very hit or miss in the draft. But I'd say draft a DT first round, most definitely.

Graham may be a good pickup...does anyone know what his blocking's like though? Because the team likes having a blocking TE first and foremost (albeit running many big sets) unless their hands are exceptional (ie Sharpe). Scheffler's blocking most likely won't develop into starting calibre stuff for another season (it may do though, you never know) so we're probably going to keep Alexander starting until it is unless there's something better on the market.

Return men...we've got two capable KRs now (Morgan and Hixon) who are both specialists as well as some fill-in players (Clark, Sapp, Cobbs). But no bona fide PR (unless Hixon can do that...someone correct me?) Which leads me to think that if Rod slots in at #3 next year then he'll take over PR duties. Either that or Kircus continues, he's not been bad but not astounding either.

OL should be drafted unless we sign someone with experience in zone blocking IMO. We've got our future core on the roster now, we just need depth.
