This is a guy who reminded me of Reggie Bush last year..but then he got caught with marijuana in his car and was kicked off of the Texas football team..well I read that he was entering the draft this year, and I was thinking that maybe if he's gotten his problems taken care of we could draft him in the 7th or sign him as a rookie free agent and give him a chance. He could be a heck of a returner..he's got speed.

I just want to know what you all think about him.

Doesn't sound quite like Maurice, sounds more like Ricky Williams.

So what who hasnt smoked a little grass in their time. If we can get a better returner for little to nothing we should. Most people are willing to give up their pot for a 6 figure sallary. Ricky Williams just gets REALLY good stuff I guess.

I'm a Longhorn grad and a HUGE fan. I love them....love the players. With that, I'd be careful with RT. He wasn't just caught with weed....he was caught with FIVE POUNDS of it. He had multiple run ins with the law that were not exposed. A good friend of mine coached basketball againt his Belton team and is friends with RT's old High School coach. It was common knowledge he wouldn't make it through college without getting in some big trouble with the law. No that I've said that, he is one of the best on the field players I've seen at UT and I've seen them all. He is the fastest player on the field......there is track speed and there is football speed. He would have to be used just like Reggie Bush......only real football knock of have on him is he fumbles to much and always tries to make a play. He will need to learn how to go down when the play has no chance. So, should we draft him in the seventh???? Hell yes, but we would need to be careful. But, after he goes to the combine and his speed and agility are on display he will be long gone by the seventh....I'm guessing fourth or fifth and I wouldn't do that if I were drafting. I'll see if I can find his highligt reel and post a link here.

He is amazing. I wouldnt mind using a third on him. That kick return was crazy were he faked downing it.

We should consider him as an undrafted free agent, but let's not be the team to spend a draft pick on him. I think, with all the question marks, he'll fall out of the draft no matter what he does at the combine; teams don't want to draft guys who were kicked out of their college programs. He's a good athlete though, and can help us on special teams if he stays clean.

I think he realized that he touched the goalline so he had to run it out..he got pushed back at least 4 yards and made a great play..i really hope he does stay clean, he's exciting to watch.

his returns look impressive but again, do we need a juke em jive em running back?

we need a DOWNHILL RUNNER! anything else for a feature back draft choice would be a waste.

this is who we need..

7th or less is the only way its worth taking the risk

It's not like we're going to take this guy in the first round or anything. If all we get out of him is a good return man, it'll be well worth it. I'm just worried that he won't be able to stay clean.

What is it with Texas Longhorns and the Hippy Lettuce? :D

Aberdien, what do you know about this Brandon Jackson? ESPN has him going pro early.

Rivals had him ranked no11 among RB's coming out of HS. He didn't even start for the Corn did he?

Hey JoRo, I would be willing to pick this guy up.

I'd get him as a 5th round pick at best.

He could also be used as a slot receiver along with returning kicks...

Im all for this guy in round 3. He is amazing and can do multiple things for our team

I think a 3rd would be a little much, he does have a gear on anyone else on the field, but hes not really a denver broncos running back. As a second day pick though id be all over it.

A second day pick has about a 50/50 shot at making the team as it is. Most will just be camp fodder. We can either take someone with less talent and a sterling reputation or somone who can burn just about anyone on the field (but might want to burn a little something else)

TAKE THE TALENT
