i started a franchise on madden and was playing the rams(week 1)

and was down 28-7 then came back to take a 36-35 lead
then they scored to go up 41-36 :salute:

i went 4 and out with Jay Cutler :(
giving them the ball at my own 20 or so with 10 seconds left! and all 3 of my timeouts

on first down they handed off,got a yard or so, and i called my timeout!

there was 6 seconds left!

on 2nd down they handed off: I HIT STICKED him: Steven fumbled and DJ Williams picked it up and i ran 80 yards into the Endzone as time expired and won LMAO!!

then i went for a 2 pt conversion(dont know y they had that option even tho i won already) and won 44-41 :rockon:

thats something i could only dream of!

The craziest way Ive won a game was eerily familiar to the way the patriots won yesterday. I needed a touchdown with about a minute or so, and I threw an int. But thankfully they fumbled, I recovered, and I eventually won on that drive. This was a while back, so I don't remember all the details.

I was playing against my friend and I was losing 42-7 in the 3rd OTR. I make an amazing comeback to pull the lead 49-42. He has like 10 seconds to go 80 yards for a touchdown. He does this amazing catch, and jukes out half my team and scores a TD. He goes for 2. He runs a double reverse and I thought he scored but they said it was short and he had no more challenges so I won the game. :D

I drive down the field with and the "Game winning fild goal" 45 - 42

Get the ball with 5 secs left throws up a hail mary 'pass interference john lynch'
now he is in long field goal range.

00:00 on the clock and his 54 yard field goal goes in. 45 - 45

I win the coin tossbut the bla bla bla

3rd and 15: I accidently had the vision cone on ( i forgot how to change it ) Brandon Marshall is my hot route so i throw it up into double coverage. he outjumps the DB's 20 yards downfield then breaks a tackle and runs it to the opponents 15.

80 yard bomb on the last play to Triandos Luke who caught it and somehow got through a mob of three would-be tacklers and was tackled into the endzone, to which I apologized to the other player for even though I was quite ecstatic...

Stuffing the Steelers on the 1-yard line on the last play of the game for the win.

The other player getting cocky with the lead, threw a last-second bomb to pad his stats, to which Champ Bailey intercepted and returned. I won it in overtime :P


In NFL Blitz (N64 version), returning the final kickoff for a TD with no time left to win the game. Two funny things about this: 1) My friend has never beaten me at Blitz, and this was as close as he got. 2) Nobody ever returns kickoffs for TDs in blitz cause the players can jump about 10 yards for tackles. :P

I played a game online we had been going back and forth the score was 35-35 in the forth I was drving with 25 secs left I was on his 45 it was 3rd and 7 I threw a pass it tipped off a wr going short across the middle it was caught by a d-linemen he ran it all the way to the about the 5 ( i dunno where T. bell or any Wr were), but i was chasing him with plummer I caught up with him at the 5 he was about to score and I rememberd the stripp button and i pressed it plummer forced a fumble and picked it up and I had the whole team by me and they blocked I ran plummer to about his 35 with about 6 secs left I kicked the field goal and won.

I can't even remember some of the wild endings my friends and I had a couple years ago when we played Madden practically all day, every day. We had a franchise going on All-Madden difficulty, and the AI would do insane things to prevent us from winning, but it got to the point where we would go on 30+ game winning streaks before losing to each other or getting beat on some fluke by the computer. Good times.

I rented Blitz: The League recently and had an absolutely heart-stopping finish to the Division I championship game. I was down with just seconds left and threw a desperation pass that my receiver dove and caught at the goal-line, then reached the ball over the line for the game-winner before the clock could run out or anyone could tag him down.

I had a crazy game lat week against someone online, it was 28-14 for him with 2:00 remaining, at the 2 minute warning he sent mee a message saying gg (good game) and i reply its not over yet. And he then says lol an kicks the ball to me, Quincy Morgan returns it to his 30 so I decide to do an end around wih Javon Walker, he hits me in the back field but Javon vreaks it and gets around the defender and runs it for a TD. Now it's 28-21 for him, he lines up in onside form thinking I will too but instead I squib it and he has a hard time recovering it but he does. He then decides to try and fool me with a PA pass deep to Torry Holt but I deflect it with Champ next play he ocmes out of shotgun and I blitz with Lynch but instead of sacking him I let him throw so I have a chance to pick it with Champ and he comes through and returns it for a TD. I then decide to go for 2 PT.s I come out of goal line and PA it with Walker lined up as TE he never noticed and Walker was wide open for the 2PT. conversion. After I'm like GG told ya so, and he replies with **** and leaves lol.

I had never played Madden on xbox 360, but when I got myself a 360 for christmas, I had to get that game too.

Before EVER playing a game I registered on xbox live and played a game online. However, I dominate at the regular xbox version. Completely dominate.

I played as the Broncos (of course) against some guy who used the chargers. It is not necessarily important to the story, but I need to include it anyway. The guy I played against was the most stereotypical black person I have ever encountered. (He was talking trash before the game started, telling me to quit, all this stuff. Its also important to note that he sounded older, he wasn't a little kid so I am amazed at the way he was acting).

I won the toss so he kicked off to me. kneel down. I hand off to Mike Bell and I get hit by a corner and fumble, Mr. Merriman picks up the ball and goes for a TD.

Mr. Lights Out - 7

He just starts screaming "lights out Nigg@ LIGHTS OUT Nigg@. LIGHTS OUT! LIGHTS OUT NIGG@! Lights OUT!"

He kicks to me, I get a decent return and get knocked out of bounds. I drop back to pass with Cutler, looking for Scheff on a slant, and I hit Asante Samuel right in the numbers who just happens to bowl over Mike Bell & juke Tom Nalen on his butt, Touchdown.

Guess what he starts yelling? Yeah, the same thing as before.

He kicks again, and this time I actually hold onto the ball for 3 downs. I Punt it out of bounds. He gets the ball and proceeds to run the ball 60 yards for a TD with LT.

Guess what he yells? Surprising huh? Actually this time he keeps telling me to quit too, what creativity.

He kicked it off again, and this time I got a great return, getting it to the 50. I got two first downs, and got to the 25-30, and got stopped, I kicked a field goal.

I kick and the mothereffer returns it for a TD. He has scored in every way possible other than a Pass or punt return with only 1 offensive play. I am still remaining cool though, because I know I didn't stand a real chance at winning on my first game, and I am just taking his smack talk in stride.

Here is where the game changed. I started playing well I went 5 WR sets and picked him apart. I even held him to a punt or two. I don't remember the exact plays so I will just let you know the score at half time.

Me - 21 (I got a fg, two tds and a two point conversion)
Mr. Lights Out - 35 (He completes a long td to Gates and thus only needs punt return to get all the possible TDs.)

And yes, his smack talk continued, dropping more N-Bombs than I have heard in an entire 50 Cent album.

I kicked to him, and held him to a punt. And I got pinned inside my own 20. Mike Bell, who has 18 total yards in the first half gets the first call, a counter to the weak side left. TOUCHDOWN, I trucked the DB on my way. I am starting to feel more confident as I am playing, I start returning his smack, asking him how his words taste, because I was gonna feed them to him.

Uh oh, I have pulled close, where is his smack talk. The N-Bombs have stopped all together, and I have a sneaking suspicion he unplugged his mic. I would have thought it was a disconnect, but he paused the game once or twice.

I stopped him again, and got the ball back. I went on a 5 WR set run, and tied the game with 3 minutes left. I have turned the tables and I was talking so much smack I probably made his family feel bad. I usually talk 0 smack, I learned class from John Stockton, Karl Malone, John Elway, and Terrell Davis. But man, Mr. Lights out was being a doosh, I had to return the smack.

The guy operated WELL after I tied, it, making first down after first down. I was lucky enough to knock him out of bounds a couple times. but I just couldn't stop him. He gets to the 20 and starts milking the clock. I used all three of my timeouts and he scores with 50 seconds left. All the sudden I hear him over the headset again.

"I told you nigg@, I told you nigg@, you should have quit. You got nothing on me!I am going to end this right now. just put the 2 points up on the board now."

*** was he going for 2? Maybe because he had about 200 yards rushing on me that game. However, I managed to stop him. For the first time all game, I stopped LT for a loss.

I will make you pay for that mistake I chimed in over the mic.

He kicks it off and I just let it go out the back of the end zone. I go 4 or 5 wide outs all the way down the field, getting 10 and outs, and getting out of bounds. I did this all the way up the field.

30 seconds left I am at the 30, he blitzes Merriman, and sacks Cutler, causing a fumble. Mike Bell, recovered. WHEW, that was close. then I realized, CLOCK IS RUNNING!!! I hustled back to the line, picked a post play to scheff and completed a pass getting Scheff out of bounds at the 10.

10 seconds left, 10 yards to go, down by six, no time outs left.

I drop back to pass, and I see rod on a stop and turn route WIDE OPEN just inside the goal line!!!!! I throw. And the animations inside the game, cause Rod to run towards the ball to make the catch, he gets tackled on the one!!! WHAT DID I DO I ! CLOCK IS RUNNING!!!! I JUST LOST!!!!















I managed to get a play off as I held the no huddle button. He blitzed merriman to my right, as I am running with Jay Cutler to the left getting away from Merriman I see a small opening of Javon Walker 5 yards into the endzone.









I fire the throw as hard as possible!





































TOUCHDOWN!!!!!!!!



And of course I make him pay for that 2 point conversion, by sending Mr. Elam to kick the PAT.

J-walk picked it up and ran about fifty yards, the drive resulted in a TD
It was pretty much all down hill from here, and threw 4 ints in the first half and I was down 28-7
Second half he returns the opening kick for a TD and I just wanna stop playing..

oh ya well one time i had a game with no time outs left down by four and there kicking off the ball. So i dont run the clock off i let the kick roll out the back of the endzone. Very nexy play i throw a fade rout to Walker and after the catch i highlight stick and have him duck under the tackle and then he just out runs the rest of the defenders to the endzone

In this game Sauerbrun (sp) is a beast, too bad he is no longer with the team. But anyways I was down 43-58 with 2 minutes left. I score a short TD with Tatum Bell and then I onside it. The ball bounces around and he recovers and starts to run w/ it. In comes Sauerbrun and I hit stick which completely lays the guy out- the ball flies out and Sauerbrun picks it up and like immediately gets tackled. So it is now 50-58 and I have the ball with like 1:30 left. DEEP pass to Brandon Marshall for a TD with about 45 ticks left and I go for two. Short pass from Cutler to Jackson to tie it. Then I need the ball back to win it, with about :30 left. Onside again... he recovers and starts to run, it is dejavou all over again as he slips every tackle and the only man left is Saurebrun who lays the guy out again forcing another fumble. Well I didnt win this way but this play I did was crazy. My first pay from scrimmage, I throw a bullet pass to Brandon Marshall on a come back route. I think it is going to be intercepted because a guy is there. I put so much velocity on the pass that the pass goes through the defender and brandon marshall catches it. The ball actually went through the defender.
