AzSnakeFan? What say you? Do you ever remember this?

I read this article not so long ago....

Phoenix gets ZERO snow per year. The last two times it snowed were 1939 and 1985 officially. This site claims 7.3 inches--WRONG.

Phoenix gets anywhere from 4 to 12 inches per year in precipitation but averages about 8 inches. This site claims 12.5 inches--WRONG.

Phoenix's average July high is 106. This site claims 91 (we wish!)--WRONG.

Phoenix's average January low is 44. This site claims 27--WRONG. We haven't been officially below freezing in years.

Yep, pretty crazy

I remember snow a couple times when I was younger, but it was very very little snow....

Mesa got hit pretty good (for the Phoenix area anyways) there was quite a bit of snow on the ground (even a couple snowmen)....

Compared to most of the country, that was not snow!!!! However, for anywhere south of Payson, it was pretty unexpected and pretty neat :D

My grandparents decided to go there for the winter this year. Sucks to be them! Should have gone to Florida or Hawaii like they do every other year.

It seems as they are getting more snow then us in parts of Michigan this year. I grew up in Tucson, and I have felt like Im there again. We had a brown christmas, were finally up to a coating.

There was a news story yesterday that Phoenix got an inch and other places around there got a few inches.

Not that I could ever verify that since I am a long way away from there.

Nebraska is the best place on earth. Although we have to much snow right now.

Most of those are in Carefree, Az. which is North of the Phoenix metropolitan area....

The ones of the Superstition Mountains and Scottsdale are in a round about way kind of close to Phoenix ;)

I live about 30 minutes from the Superstition Mountains and I can't recall ever seeing snow on them before the past weekend :D
