Dilemna

Okay so I'm just getting started (almost done with pre-season) with the Superstar mode on '07. My guy is a quarterback that is 6'7" and 220 lbs.

He was drafted by the Redskins with the 20th pick in the 5th round (yeah, not too high, i know) but he's doing really well so far. Heck, he even got a movie role offer already!

Anyway, right now since it's his rookie year and not even into regular season yet, I know I'm going to wait to see how the season pans out but I had him predict that the Redskins would make the playoffs haha.

The dilemna is whether to keep him in Washington DC for his entire career or see if I can get him traded to some other team, maybe even Denver.

I was just happy he wasn't drafted by Oakland, SF or Dallas.

What do you guys think?

yeah but where's the fun in that? i'm trying to play the "role" you know? does my qb want to play in Washington? Or would he rather wait and see if anyone else wants him? Or how Washington will treat him?

it's really weird not playing as a Denver Bronco, that's for sure.

its called testing the market...if you dont resign there will still be a contract option there if you dont like whats presented...

I would stick with the Skins, it will make your guy's career more amazing lol. Plus You got some good targets with, Moss, Lloyd and Randle El.

Yeah so far everything has been going well. I finished the pre-season. So I'll finally get to see what he can do in regular season. Moss has been a great target to go to and Randel El has been a nice short target guy so far.

Hate to break it to ya, every Superstar gets a movie offer lol. At the end of your season you can go to your agent and demand a trade. It throws your ego way down though. You can demand trades twice. I just did it, and if I didn't get picked up by the Broncos, I would just reset my Xbox and do it until I got picked up by the Broncos. It's really weird playing as a different team from the Broncos, but after you play a lot, you get really attached to them. My Superstar DE was drafted by the 'Fins in 3rd round, and at first I hated it. But I dealt with it and I loved them. Great receivers, Culpepper was a great QB but he got injured for 10 weeks in week 3. So I had to work with Harrington, and it was amazing to see him progress. I got really attached to them. Basically all the starters and half of the backups went to the Pro-Bowl because they were spectacular. Well not really, I forgot to change it All-Pro. I was playing on Pro the whole season and I modified the AI so mine was maxed out and theirs was very low, if any. But still, I got attached to them. At the end of the season I demanded a trade and got picked up by the Broncos after about 10 tries and 9 different teams. But I stopped playing Superstar, because it's kind of weird. The whole team is mixed up because the system didn't resign some players, and there are a bunch of rookies with made up names. So I stopped playing Superstar, and instead am playing Franchise with my super kick-butt fantasy team. One of the main reasons why I stopped playing Superstar was because Lynch was a Chief and Lynch basically swapped teams with the Chiefs FS. He (Chiefs FS) sucks :sad:

Well I figured the movie thing was part of the system. It wasn't even a cool movie and I didn't even get the part I don't think? Anyway, that wasn't the big deal.

So I'm 3 games into the season and I am NOT happy with Moss. I've thrown to him 3 or 4 times in clutch situations and he dropped all of them. He's costing me hella influence points because of failed 3rd down conversions etc.

and I was playing against the Vikings or something and I was on the Viking 31 yard line and it was fourth down. And the stupid coach tells me to punt the ball!!!!

WHAT? PUNT? and I couldn't find the field goal audible...so now I'm going to make sure I have one. I couldn't believe it. No coach would ever punt it from the 31 yard line when that only equals about a 41 yard field goal. I was pissed.
