I was thinking about how the texans are looking to trade Carr and how the Broncos needed a backup, but carr doesnt seem like a likely possibility for being the backup QB. however, i believe the Vikings showed interest in Carr and the Texans are interested in Jake Plummer, so was thinking that there could be a three way trade allowing the broncos to land a veteran backup, like brad johnson. how does this sound:

Broncos Give:

Plummer
T. Bell
21st pick
3rd round pick

Texans Give:

David Carr
8th pick

Vikings Give:

Brad Johnson
3rd round pick

Broncos Get:

8th pick
Brad Johnson

Texans get:

Plummer
Bell
21st pick
3rd round pick
3rd round pick

Vikings get:

Carr

To me this trade seems to help every team involved.
the broncos move up in the draft and trade away to players who are considered to be on the trade block, while also picking up a nice veteran QB to backup Jay and maybe teach him a few things.
the texans get rid of carr and are able to get plummer to replace him. they are now able to address many more needs via the draft with their three new first day picks. and they also get tatum to help out their struggling running game.
the vikings are able to get carr, who may be able to come in and be their QB of the future for a fairly small price.

i know this deal had zero chance of ever happening but its fun to dream sometimes.

anyways, let me know what you think...

The 3rd rounder from Denver to Houson. Just a bit too much considering that they get a quality back, a QB that can start right away AND #21. But if this trade was an option, yeah, i could see Houston demanding a 3rd and Denver giving it to them, considering we have 2 3rds. Give them the 2nd 3rd of the 2 i think its pick #86. Sure

The Vikings win this 3 way trade.

They give up a QB that could possibly retire and a third rounder for a young capable QB?

The deal would not go through.

Broncos trade: Plummer, Bell, #21 GET #8
Texans trade: Carr, #8 GET Plummer, Bell, #21, (and at least the Vikings second rounder)
Vikings trade: Johnson, second rounder at least.

This has more of a chance.

That would be a huge pick up that I would be very happy with, Brad Johnson In Denver would definatly be a benifit for this team next year

i think this is a good scenario of a three way trade though....all teams benifit from it.

the texans get 2 picks and 2 upgrades in viable areas of need. the texans o line sucks and they need a mobile qb.

the vikings get carr who is a major upgrade from brad at this stage of his career.

the broncos have a shot at AD!
