Draft needs now....

Considering our recent acquisitions: Dan "Big Daddy" Wilkerson, Travis Henry, and Dre' Bly; some of our needs have been met. How do you think we are going to address the rest of our needs through the draft? I still like Reggie Nelson or Michael Griffin in the first round but I could also see us going after Carriker. However we could still end up getting a Jarvis Moss in the 2nd round. Thoughts?

Please no Reggie Nelson, he's too small and wiry. Jarvis Moss would be a better selection.

There are probably 100 posts that address this question...but essentially, Carriker is pretty much an impossibility if we stay at #21. Nelson would be nice or Michael Griffin (both of whom I think would be a valuable selection), but I think the pick won't reach it's full value if we draft an available DE (maybe Moss, Johnson, whoever). There also exists numerous trade possibilities....see the "So you think we're taking a DL in the first round..." (or something like that) for details/opinions on those possibilities.

I have heard talk of Big Daddy retiring.....any truth to it? He is getting up there in age. I was surprised to see Denver sign him in the first place.

I think we still need DT, DE and a S on the Defense.
