Hall is worth a 3rd round pick at best... I think he's lost his luster, especially when you compare him to the likes of Hester.

They're not going to trade anyone to a division rival :coffee:
ya i know that i was just wondering he is such a threat and fast and great moves i like him for being a chief basher
really I think he's worth a 2nd round draft pick my self he's a great player with a lot of moves and speed he can disrupt a team real fast

little to no recieving threat, gets pushed around to much, easily taken out of his routes, not very tough imo, ok hands but not great. good speed, good moves= 4th rdr imo, and i dont want him here.
if he can return atleast three kicks a year he would be worth a 3rd, but a guy who is not going ot do damage as a reciever and doesnt do much more than the 30 yrd line or 40, is not worth starting caliber player imo, or the potentail one might find in a 3rd.

Hall is a has-been as a returner and a never-was as a receiver.
He returns sideways and backwards these days. I couldn't be less interested in a player.

Hall is not worth much at this point. He is a good returner but can be taken out of the game real easy if the other team is smart, ie Hester in the Super Bowl.

My question is: Who is our great returner? The Broncos haven't had a great returner for years!

He isn't worth a second at any point.
Guys like Javon Walker and Randy Moss get 2nd round offers. Not KRers who can't play WR.
What is up with all the crazy ideas 69er? Its like when the Wall of Pain went down, some people went on parade....

Hester scored a touchdown in the Super Bowl... That's not exactly being taken out of the game.

but after that touchdown he didnt touch the ball again ( he did help in field position) plus that is hester we are talking about hall who isnt as the same playere he was during his breakout year all he is now is a name and mystique nothing more
just look at desmond howard a superbowl mvp but after that year what did he ever due again return specialists are overrated and not worth that much if you have a decent returner you are just fine you dont need the big name
i think morgan or a late round pick will do just fine for us next year
and by the way morgan was the #1 returner two years ago and what did he do last year

Dante Hall rookie season (2000)
- Kickoff / Punt returns for a TD = 0
Devin Hester rookie season (2006)
- Kickoff / Punt returns for a TD = 5 + 1 SB
And the bears havent even began to use him to his potential... Hall > Hester?? Yea, great argument Dawg...

I do know that he scored a TD, it was the first play of the game. But after that the Colts were able to take him out of the game, he didn't exactly help them after that did he?

yes he did help the team after that because they squib kicked every kickoff after that and gave the bears starting field position around the 35-40 yard line every time i call that helping

The Bears didn't take advantage of that, nice to have the field position but if your not going to use it then? That was really an advantage to the Colts Hester could not hurt them and that was really the only threat the Bears had! Hell we all would like to have a player like Hester but Iam just saying he can be removed from the game with smart kicking then there is no one to bail you out with a kick off return.

the bears couldnt do anything because there offense was terrible that was not hesters fault its not like he was gonna return every kick for a td
wouldnt you want you kick returner to get you to the 40 yard line every return he did that for his team his team just couldnt do anything with it

Well thats the point I am making. Colts took Hester out of the game and were able to win. Give the ball to the Bears offense and try and let them bet you, Hester not a factor after the opening kick off.

Getting a touchdown on special teams is very rare. Any time that happens against your team, even ONCE, 7 points on something that shouldn't matter is HUGE. The Colts DID NOT contain Hester, because he scored. Any time a team is able to get a touchdown makes the day of special teams a success, unless there are a bunch of fumbles.

Well, they did their best. Colts had one of the NFLs worst special teams while the Bears had the best.
Colts took a gamble and immediately it hurt....a lot.
So AFTER they got thier butts kicked, they stopped Hester completely ;)
I think they even forced a fumble on one of the squib kicks.

why would KC trade with their rival. It would be like us trading Jake Plummer (before retiring) to KC. Kinda makes no sense.
If we could. I like Hall and could be used as a punt returner. He has not done as well as a few years ago, but still is immensly talented as a returner.

Dante Hall was good the first time around, when his name was Desmond Howard. :coffee:
