after the movie me and my sisters friends looked for 23 in the mall.

we have 46 stores in the mall. 46 has 2 digits. 46 divided by 2= 23
it is the year 2007 20+07+ 27, 2007 has 4 digits . 27-4 = 23
we saw a 30% sign in the mall, % is spelled percent witch has 7 letters, 30-7=23

after the movie i looked up Kurt Cobain. He was born in 1967, 1+9+6+7=23,
he died in the year 1994, 1+9+9+4 = 23
