Well I just thought I'd bring this up. I've made my case about this before, including a thread titled "Hawaii is our SALVATION!" but I decided to dump it.
Now this thread is specifically about Nasti Nate Ilaoa and Leonard Peters.
These guys are serious sleepers. Their recorded 40 times may have been slow, but HOT FUZZ they sure do run fast in games.
Nate Ilaoa
He is a 250-pound bunker-busting bowling-ball. He is an absolutel beast of an RB. Don't have a hole? He'll make his own. He runs over guys like a steamroller. Once he gets up to momentum, he's nearly unstoppable unless three guys tackle him from behind or six guys take him on in front. He has laid out numerous linebackers, safeties, and cornerbacks who dare to take him one on one. More often than not, it takes at least four guys to bring him down, with a supporting cast of say, the rest of the defense. He is also a good receiver, and is deadly with the shovel pass. He also had SIX years of NCAA eligibility, which shows he has a lot of experience.
Stats from 2006, his best year (even though he was injured with something heel related half the season)
Year GP Att Yds Avg TD Rec Yds TD
2006 13 131 990 7.6 13 67 837 5
Totals 37 222 1,689 7.6 20 151 1,694 9
7.6 Average?!?! 837 reception yards?!?!?! Awesome!

Leonard Peters
He too was granted SIX years of NCAA eligibility. That equals a lot of experience, although he and Ilaoa have missed three and two seasons, respecively, due to injuries. But that runs out to 3 and 4 normal seasons (with normal injuries). Still good as any. He is a fierce hard hitting BALL-HAWKING safety who always hustles to the ball. Reminds me of a young Brian Dawkins/Troy Polamalu/Sean Taylor with a little touch of John Lynch. When USC played Hawaii (Hawaii lost though), Reggie Bush said that Leonard Peters is one of the toughest, if not toughest, safeties and hardest hitting safeties he's ever had to play against. The venerable REGGIE BUSH fears LEONARD PETERS!

This one he disguises a blitz well and forces a fumble on the QB

And just a general highlights vid, although it contains some big gain plays for the offense but it shows Peters' great hustle.
