Because while GH has been fighting through injuries, he's still been playing... TD has been out of the game, completely for a while.

That would be sweet I would like to see him gain around 400 yrds rushing in each of the next 3 years so he could get over the hump and make it to the Hall of Fame maybe score 3 or 4 TD in the same fashion, and help releive Q

I'm not sure an official announcement is necessary to retire. If this is really the SYSTEM and not special backs like TD or Portis, then we don't have to worry about getting TD back on the field...do we?:duh:

Terrell Davis is the reason I started watching football, I'd love to see him back but after all his injuries I really dont think he'd be as good as he was, and it would only hurt his attempt at Canton if the last years of his career were seen as a past his best guy trying to get back into it.

PS I still think he's the best back ever, the guy was magic!

Ahmaad Galloway was going to be a 1st round DP until is injury, and the Bronco management think he was a steal...I want to see him play! We also have Q and Cecil Sapp, both of whom showed some good play in the last season. Remember that Terrell was a 6th rounder, Gary a 4th, MA a 5th or 6th, Q a 4th and Portis was the only one who could be described as a high DP...I would be comfortable in drafting a 3rd...
