Wow, That's too bad. I wouldn't wish that on anybody. Prior has talent, and a wicked curveball. Too bad for Cubs fans. I would've liked to have been a fly on the wall in Pinella's office when he found this out. (Love Sweet Lou's tirades).

Seriously, is anyone surprised? The only thing that surprises me is that Kerry Wood didn't beat Prior to the shelf this year.

I'm sure the Twins feel pretty good about themselves drafting Joe Mauer over Mark Prior a few years ago. :coffee:

I can still remember everyone (analysts) told the Twins they we're stupid... :coffee: :D

Not a surprise, but not pleasant news either.

Im glad theyre at least getting this out of the way early. I also wouldnt be shocked if it was from steroids (if MLBs commercials are true). Its a soap opera that has been getting old. The guy isnt just fragile physically, he's fragile mentally as well. If something goes wrong, it falls apart too easily with him. If you think the Cubs are cursed because they wouldnt let a goat (of all things) into the ball park, you need to find your way off the short bus as soon as possible.
