I know that a lot of people are more interested in taling about whos going to be drafted next, but Id like to know, which one do you watch....NFL Network or ESPN for the draft.

Which one has the best coverage of the draft in your opinion.
I personally think it's NFL Network, just because I like the people more, I like Mariucci and Mike Mayock more than Keyshawn and Mel Kiper, that's it. But I am still watching both just in case one has more info, or one goes to commercial.

This is a poll....

NFL Network by far. Better anouncers, better sound, better commercials, Adam Schefter, etc.

I've been switching back and forth, but now have locked onto NFL.

Last year it was the opposite though, but this year I don't want to hear info and analysis from Keyshawn Johnson, lol.

I watch the NFL Network until Deion Sanders comes on, then I switch the ESPN. When I think Deion is done yapping then I switch back the NFLN. :D

I like how NFL network shows the teams needs at each pick and highlights them if they have been picked. Small detail but nice

My tv's been on NFLN all day long, though I've had to do yardwork occasionally, at least I got to fast forward through a lot of commercials. I think Mike Mayock is one of the better draft gurus.

Yeah where was Tom Jackson?

NFL Network has better commentary and commentators whereas ESPN has Berman, Mortensen, Jaws, etc but crappy commentary.

Dont get the NFLN my cable company wants us to have digital tv with the HD package for us to get NFLN. it wouldn't be bad if I had an HDTV

I don't have NFL Network but ESPN's coverage was TERRIBLE!!! Oh God was it horrible! The reason the draft took so long was ESPN's fault. You could see the clock disappear when a team made a selection, but they'd take 4-5 more minutes because Chris Berman wanted to discuss some meaningless crap. And honestly Keyshawn Johnson was the best person on the coverage. You could tell he took it seriously and researched players, so he was able to offer ACTUAL insight. Gosh, between the coverage and the Broncos picks this was one INCREDIBLY hard draft to watch.

I just realized that another reason Im liking NFLN better is their intro. Im not exactly that enamored with stuff trying to be hip/urban but Im kind of liking their intro.

I dont have NFL N, but anythign can be better than not getting any consent about
picks 23 through 32 because they were talking about Brady Quinn and about how
he showed his poise.

I"ve always watched ESPN coverage since before NFL Network showed up so I think I'm use to that. I'll give NFL Network a try and get back to you.

Yeah, ESPN is not a national network nor is there really any element of journalsim in what they do. Shapiro changed that a few years ago and made it E!SPN, though its been going on with anything Berman has touched for a while now. Berman is like E!SPNs version of Mickey Mouse. He is some blowhard character who covers this draft like he is sitting on his couch at home and not reporting to a nationwide audience. And E!SPN thinks because they talk about it, its news.
