Does anybody know if this LB out of Louisville has been signed yet? He looks like a very good prospect I'm suprised he wasn't drafted, I'm sure he could contribute in some way or another if not compete for a starting spot at strong side.

Not sure if this is true or not but I just went to the Louisville scout.com forum and it said Nate Harris signed with KC. If so I am pumped. We need a possible backup at middle linebacker. Harris was a transfer from Miami due to off the field trouble so if he had stayed out of trouble I think he would have gone the route of other top Miami linebackers and would have been a high day one pick.

Thanks for ruining my day...
First our rival Chargers stole Brandon Siler from us,
and now the CHIEFS steal Harris...

Sorry.
If it is any consolation I wanted the Chiefs to take a look at OG Duckworth in free agency.

NOOOOOOO! I am so angry with this draft. I am from louisville, and a diehard UL fan. Then i see mike bush go to the faiders, and kolby smith go to the chefs. Now you are telling me nate harris may be in KC! I just cant take anymore of this. Mike Bush will be a stud if the raiders can get a servicable line. Kolby Smith is a good back up for KC. Say it aint so though about Nate. He wasnt drafted because he had some character issues his freshman year at miami, then went juco, then came to louisville his jr year, and has been a model citizen ever since. But you know how people are about character these days. He is also kinda small, but he is a playmaker still, and a good linebacker.

I havent seen anything official, about harris yet. Nothing on draftdaddy(great site by the way, thanks to whoever originally put that up) or louisville.scout. I didnt check the message boards, but thats all heresay anyways. Brandon Sharpe, safety from louisville signed with tennessee. He coudl have provided good depth for us. And Petrino signed Kurt Quarterman and Renardo Foster(2 olineman from louisville) I dont know whether to wish the guy the best for the great seasons and help bring louisville to a national power, or hate him for being dishonest, and far from loyal.

you can still hope, as it's still a rumor at this point. i haven't seen anything anywhere else yet about kc signing him. i agree though, and i too am a little bummed that my ride on the walter thomas bandwagon ended with a flat tire (the wagon had tires, not wooden wheels, it's a modern bandwagon, i mean seriously it's 2007 guys) :D

5) Nate Harris, inside linebacker, Louisville.
Harris and a friend used a gun to rob a man of a bracelet, a ring, and a necklace while the man was playing checkers in Miami Beach. The armed-robbery rap cost him a scholarship at Miami (which at the time was busy recruiting crime-superstar linebacker Willie Williams for that same position) and left him the only entrant in this draft with prison/boot camp experience. He’s a fourth without the rap, a seventh at best right now.
I don't know if it's true that he signed with KC or not, but I don't think we need him in Denver.

Teams shied away from Harris because he was labeled a 'character risk'.

Seems like almost every player is a "character risk" in one way or another.

Oh! For god's sake! Shut it with the whining! :fight:
This was the BEST Broncos draft of the last 10 years, at least since Shanahan drafted T.D. in the 6th round. Anyone who's "angry" with this draft doesn't have a clue about how good the players the Broncos got!
I can't wait till the pre-sesason to see some action!
Moss will be an excellent DE at rushing the passer and Thomas was the steal of the entire draft. It just doesn't happen that you get the chance to take the best or second best DT in the entire draft in the 4th round! It doesn't ever work out that way, and yet it just did.
A bunch of teams passed on Thomas because of "character concerns" and every one of them is going to eat their shorts when they see what kind of player he becomes!

The guy threatened the life of another over jewelry. That's a very serious character issue. You don't just pass that off as a youthful mistake. Not only should he not have been drafted he never should have played another down of college football after that incident. We don't need him on our team.

Draftdaddy doesn't report their own news. That list is based off of news they find from other sources. I know of some cornerback the Chiefs have signed from Washington State but he isn't on that list. Does that mean it isn't true?

Jumping the gun a bit aren't we? These players haven't played a single down yet. People are just as valid saying this draft "sucks" as you saying it is the "best." At this point, it is all subjective.

You must have misunderstood my post. I am thrilled with the broncos draft. What i am upset about is the fact that 2 Louisville running backs went to AFC west rivals. That is what i am upset about. Kolby Smith isnt extremely talented, but he is solid. With a decent oline he can produce maybe in a few years. When Bush gets healthy, he will for sure produce. I loved those guys, and rooted for them just as much as the broncos over the years, and now i have to root against them. That would be like seeing my mother wearing a radier T-shirt.
