and the rest of those playbooks have been there for years. it's a mystery to me why they evern took out the create-a-play feature. i wish they'd let you edit a playbook. though keeping it offline would be a must. that would be a cheese factory online.

when you hold "turbo" (even tho it's non-existent) you have to charge it to the second charge. The first one is like blue lightning or something the second charge changes the circle in the middle to orange (maybe it's team-colored?) anywho that's when you hit turbo again and burn your speed

I think I'm getting burnt out on this game for the fact that... i SUCK. i literally play better setting the controller on the ground for defense other wise ANY PLAY goes ALL THE WAY against me...

How do you charge it again? Just keep holding A? I was doing practice and it seems like half the time charge just disappears for no reason.

Also I really just wanted to know EXACTLY what the skills do. Like leadership, does it stack? How much does it improve the rest of your team, and in what areas? etc.

You schedule it with the person you're playing. You have like a 4 day window or something to play the game.

The graphics arent very good, but other then that I really like it. Gameplay is great. Wish they had a franchise mode

dont be too over-zealous sport, tapping turbo gives you a boost... charging turbo THEN USING turbo makes you a helluva lot faster than tapping it...

oh and Doggcow... workhorse = more u give him the ball the better he plays and harder he works, speed burner means player has exceptional speed for his position... its in the game just mess around with your "manage team" option and you will see an option for skills or something... (kinda tired)

I dislike this game... yeah its nice to play waiting for Madden but the game is sorry IMO

yeah i agree, the graphics look terrible, the game play is fun for maybe the 10 min i played it after i rented it. i like the gang tackles, they look good, but play calling screens look like my original nintendos and everything looks like its glowing

idk maybe its just me but i like realistic football games meaning graphics and gameplay need to be on the same level, i also like having real teams/player/stadiums,

firebirds, and all those other names seem so madden 97 create your own team. thats all i used to do make the ultimate team and then beat the cpu 90-0, (that was when i was in idk 5th grade) give me realistic anyday now

im so happy i rented tis instead of buying because it is going back tonight and ill just stick with ncaa 07 untill madden in about 3 week:rockon:

if there's one thing i don't like about apf so far, is that the ai can become frustratingly stupid sometimes. my superstar receiver who by all accounts, could catch a 300Mph pass from point blank range with his fingernails, drops the easiest passes when i need him to catch them.

I hbighly disagree. It sounds like ytou might not know how to play well. Controls is my favorite. Specially the controls on D. Very user friendly game.

As far as play book if you only use 6 plays on offense you will never get a yard against me. If you use 4 on D I will see righ through.

i know it was like this on all the 2k football games but i hate, absolutely hate A being sprint, it is so dumb because then you can juke spin or do much of anything with out slowing down, besides that im used to madden and hlding the trigger down so now my guys juke all the time lol:D

Watch out for cheesers with created players, you can make 5 talent golds I found out.

If You unlock every achievement in All-Pro Football 2K8...You will unlock the ability to create a gold star football player with 5 abilities as opposed to the default 3

Check on madden 07 in the record books. Those have interceptions atleast. I dont know if they have forced fumbles.

I gave up on it. I turned on 15 minute quarters, fumbles to max, penalties off, and sat next to the QB every down with **** Butkis and got 1 fumble.

i hate when you're expected to do something like this. i knew from day one we'd be seeing some achievements so difficult that no matter how good you are, it's 100 percent pure luck as to whether it happens or not.

I had Natrone Means fumble walking in to the endzone untouched fumble the ball last night. Fumbles don't happen like they're supposed to in the game =\

Lol I just made my rigged players, they play like crap for some reason. Terrell Davis can't get past the line of scrimmage with: Speed Burner, Branching Tackles, Finesse and Power, Break Away Burst, Workhorse. I get tackled by the first Generic player to hit me, every time.

After extensive testing, gold created running backs suck.

I find gold QB much more effective, since they don't really get tired, so theyre always at top performance. Not to mention they draw the attention of opponents defense and open up running lanes.

I use custom
John Elway (Pocket Presence *I like passing from the pocket so shoo*, Laster Arm, Rocket Arm, Leadership, Quick Release)

and

Custom Champ Bailey (Closing Speed, Coverage Bonus, Ball Hawk, Leadership, Run Coverage)
-or-
Steve Atwater (Footsteps, Coverage Bonus, Ball Hawk, Closing Speed, Run Reader)
