Great news... good for you, Tom:salute:.

Though I've never been a fan of the Braves or Mets, I've been a Glavine fan since his rookie year (not a strong rookie year, but I thought he had tremendous potential... and I can be right every now and then;)).

A Braves fan salute to Tom Glavine! I just wish it wasn't with the Mets.

Tom is a class act and will always be best remembered in my mind for the 240 something wins as a Brave and the 1995 World Series MVP. Way to go Tom! I'm glad you'll go into the hall of fame with the Braves symbol on your hat.

King Felix looks like someone who will be making regular trips to the DL. It's early, but I don't think he has the durability.

Out of all of the young pitchers today, I'd probably pick C.C. Sabathia.

Congrats to Tom Glavine showing us all that you don't have to throw 90 plus to get batters out consistently.

Unless Randy Johnson has a TREMENDOUS bounce back season next year and his back is 100% healthy....then I believe you will be correct....it will be a LONG TIME until we see another 300 game winner unless the Big Unit can pull it off (he is 16 wins away)....

23 pitcher to win 300! Congrats! What a weekend we had for baseball. Glavin, A-Rod(500), and Bonds tying the mark and eventually breaking it tonight!

It looks like it is gong to be a while untill we ever see another 300 game winner. But what about the Braves! Having the big 3 together, Maddax, Smolts, and Glavin! Sure did find some good ones. Glavin could be a 300 game winner instead he has 150 saves and 200 wins!
