This guy could move into the 1st if he impresses people at the combine. He's an awesome run-stuffer but he's not that good in pass-rushing. I think he'd be a nice 2nd round pick if he falls.![]()

I'll have to disagree with that assessment.
As of now he is borderline 4th rounder. With a good combine he could slip into the 3rd. He is nothing more than Butt Clogger. He is ideal for 3-4 NT possibly for 4-3 NT. But he has no penetration skills at all. His NFL comparison is to Ryan Pickett of the Packers. Keeping that in mind he might be a nice pickup to put next to Thomas and to help protect the LB's.
Ive never really heard of him but DT is a big need so we should look at him especially if he's a run stopper.

B-Marsh owning Al Harris(Aka: the supposed most physical corner in the league)
Mock Draft:

**If Ellis/Dorsey fall**[/COLOR]
1) Dorsey or Ellis(whoever falls)
2) Devin Thomas
4) Frank Okam
4) Beau Bell

1) Desean Jackson
2) Pat Sims or Trevor Laws(whoever falls)
4) Frank Okam
4) Beau Bell
I read in SI that he could go in the 1st if he did well in the combine. The reason he doesn't have great stats is because he's usually double-teamed. Check out his article at

I don't disagree, but it all depends on What Denver does with it's first 2 picks. If they trade down and grab Pat Sims DT Auburn, then there really isnt a reason to waste a pick on Rubin. Also Red Bryant would be available in the 2nd and if Denver gets a 3rd somehow there is Frank Okam. One thing tho is the D Slowik runs, Im not sure how a clogger would fit into the rotation.
yes but we need at least one colgger, every good defense has a good clogger. The good cloggers in this draft are him, Okam and Bryant. Pat Sims can do it all and he would be perfect for us barring Ellis dropping to us at 12.
As far as penetrators we got Thomas and we should pick one up in free agency like Rod Coleman or Wiliams or someone else. Crowder should move inside on passing downs. But we need a clogger whether that be Okam, Rubin, Bryant or Sims or hell Sean Rodgers or Kris Jenkins.
If we dont pick up andy cloggers the whole draft or free agency and the 4th round rolls around. If Rubin is there SNAG HIM

I think the hope is that a guy like this, or Laws, slips to us in the 4th.
