Should we make it like the Locker room where you have to earn the right to get in. For exaple you would need at least 2 bar to get into it. That way we get rid of a lot of the troll.

I thought of this awhile ago but then a few people convinced me to keep it the way it is.
Don't you get a kick out of all the n00bs saying stuff like " DONKOS SUCK!!!!!11 1-3" and all kinds of stuff?

We still get that kind of stuff but atleast it would get rid of a great majority of the pointless threads. Or atleast something along the lines of needing at least 30 post to be able to start a new one.

If we do that, we'll have rival fans spamming the other forums to get their posts up to thirty. Beyond that, I am a member of several rival fan boards, but will likely never become anything close to a regular. Despite this, I offer quality posts and smack talk. I would be annoyed if I visited some forums and found that I had to post significantly to be able to post in smack talk.

What would be really helpful is if people reported more infractions in smack talk. That would help us maintain that forum better.

The Chargers board requires you to have a certian number of post before you can make a new post. To your point AO that they would simple spam the board to get to thirty, would that not get them banned. It would be a self correcting problem.

This gets back to the discussion of a 100 post rule before being allowed to make a thread. And just look at our own GD speaking of pointless threads. Posting should be allowed. Thread starting No.

But smack talk is just that. Smack. There are going to be all kinds of posts/threads that might be considered IP worthy and it happens daily.

Each week as we face a new opponent, it would be expected to have fans from that team base joining our boards and vice versa. They would want (as we would there) have the ability to discuss and smack during the week prior or following the game. They wouldn't hang around trying to make worthless posts just to get them to the level to move on. By then, we will already be in the playoffs.

But I said this elsewhere. The Chief board and the Jets board were able to use those 4 letter words that are banned around here.

I for one don't want to see that on Broncomania and respect the fact that we can't.

Even though sometimes you want to throw a few in here and there.

I dont like that idea of Course Im not a troll and I post practical posts and I dont have two bars also thats where the trolls are allowed to live if they can live anywhere let them live there. Its actually quite fun watching them eat crow week after week
