    Nick Foles

I don't think we need a QB. I think Orton will just get better as the team gets used to the system

I just wanted to throw this out since I'm an Arizona Grad. Nick Foles the QB from AZ is really looking good this year and he is only a sophomore and starting his first year this season. He had his team ranked as high as 17th this year and currently is leading the cats against USC. His stats for this year are 2200 yards, 17 TDs, 7 INTs, and a rating of 134. That's pretty good considering the competition he plays against in the Pac-10, 5 of the top 25 teams are in the Pac-10.

Look out for this kid in 2 years as a senior!!!

Foles just won the game against USC. Down by 3 with 6 minutes to go drives 80 yards and throws the winning TD. He threw 2 TDs and rushed for 3rd. He's gonna be a star.

    Nice job Wildcats!!!

lol not a big fan of his hair cut, but his play impressed me today. Could be an interesting prospect a few years down the road.

The cats are an up and coming team once again. I'm looking forward to seeing how they improve over the next couple of years.

Info from spring ball on my college QB prospect and his top WR.

Despite nursing an ankle injury, quarterback Nick Foles was nearly perfect in Arizona's scrimmage, completing 15-of-16 passes for 106 yards and a touchdown.
Look for the strong-armed gunslinger to continue to improve and build upon his 2400+ yard performance last season.

The Arizona Daily Star reports that Arizona wide receiver Juron Criner has been very impressive during spring ball, and coach Mike Stoops said, "Juron's starting to emerge as the player we felt he could be. He's the No. 1 go-to guy."
Criner is coming off a very nice sophomore campaign that saw him score nine times. His development, along with that of quarterback Nick Foles, means that we could be looking at the Pac-10's top receiver and one of the best in the nation in 2010.

Question: Why did the arizona fans rush the field against Oregon when they went on to lose the game?

Well some of retarded fans went on the side because they thought that there was no way Oregon would score a td with 1:30 left. However, seeing that probably gave Oregon some extra motivation for that last drive. We have some dumb fans. I was mad they went down prematurely. I was sitting in the student section yelling at my fellow students to not go down

I love the Wildcats but Foles is garbage. I have watched him quite a bit and in this years Spring Game he looked like crap.

Scott is going to be the starter this year for the Wildcats. He is way more mobile and can create.

With the Wildcats loosing a good portion of their starting O line it is going to be trouble for Foles who can not move at all.

It will be a rough year for the Cats and if Foles ever makes it to the NFL it will be as a Third string QB for a couple of years at best.

Dude, your crazy. Matt Scott is horrible. Foles is 10x the QB Scott will ever be. Scott was constantly off the mark on his throws, many times throwing them into the dirt last season, while Foles made it look easy. The Cats are better off with Foles at QB

Yea, you're right. That's why Foles replaced Scott early in the season and led the team to a 6-4 record as the starter in his first year starting as a sophomore. As to the Oline...what is the good portion you talk about...one LT? Are you sure that it wasn't the ASU team you were watching?

I dont think u can mistake the asu oline for anyother oline in a bcs conference...considering asu may have the worst oline the last 2 years in FBS...and we lose more than 5 olinemen to bad injuries each year....and we already had our starting LG tear his acl.....SIGH its gonna be another long season with our offense line and not being able to put up points

well the student started going down before U of A kicked it off to Oregon. Foles didn't start the season, He didnt play the 1st game at all against Central Michigan, but then got some snaps in the 2nd game against NAU and 3rd game against Iowa. Matt Scott just sucked and Foles practice better and made the most out of his snap when in the games. He finally started his 1st game in U of A's 4th game against Oregon St.
