Damn 60 passes?? Tebow finished 44 of 46. 50 of 60 is pretty good though did he connect on any nice deep balls?

FWIW McShay had a couple of tweets about fairley
First is "297 pound men should not move like Nick Fairley"
The second was from SC where he said he was blown away with Fairleys workout
Just heard cam was 44 of 51 not 40 of 50 and also that it was a huge improvement from the combine
Who cares about Cam? We wont take him. How did Fairley look in his drills? Did he weigh in better than at the Combine?
It says right above ur post 297 lol
Auburn QB Cam Newton and his agents reportedly met with the Bills Monday night.
Newton is drawing interest from all of the top teams. He spent time with Panthers coach Ron Rivera on the field Tuesday and threw extra passes specifically requested by Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt. The head coaches for the Broncos, Bengals, and Browns were also in attendance at Auburn's pro day.

My observations:
Newton - I watched the entire thing. He was 50 for 60 in the scripted part. 3 drops I believe and the rest were overthrows mostly to the right side of the field. Most of those 60 passes were within 7 yards. Had some very nice touch on his deep balls & a couple overthrows out of the endzone.
After that a few different coaches asked him to throw some curls and other timing patterns. I think they were mostly requests from the Bills staff. Ken Whizenhunt came up to him right afterwards & shook his hand and exchanged brief pleasantries.
Overall it wasn't bad & wasn't great. He looked VERY tired & was breathing noticeably hard and sweating heavily after 20 throws. Had his hands on his hips a lot & looked generally tired. After the scripted part the camera caught him saying something along the lines of "can I get a break", but then he laughed so I don't know if he was serious or joking.
He didn't look like a top QB prospect. Good & physically impressive, but definitely still "raw". Mcshay, as much as I don't credit what he says, made the comment that is wasn't even in the same level as Bradford's/Ryan's etc., and he expected Gabbert's to be much better.
Fairley - He looked good in 90% of the drills. He has tremendously quick feet displayed in all the drills. Excelled in the 'turn the corner' bag drills. He was far and away the best of his group, but then again the rest of the guys all looked unimpressive. For the eyeball test he does not have that 'bulk' look like other DT's. He looks taller and leaner. I think the comparison to Jevon Kearse is relatively close with the length of their arms and legs.
The coach ran them through a TON of drills & Fairley got winded too, but he ran all of his drills hard. There were a few drills that he got sloppy w/ his footwork after he was tired. I don't think that's too abnormal though for a 297 pounder.
I question what he wore, and although it might not sound like much, I'm wondering what the story is behind it. He wore all red (socks, shorts, jersey) and he was wearing a WR's combine jersey with the #1 and the name Adams on the back. I don't know if his agent told him to wear this to make him stand out amongst all the other group or maybe it was a tribute or something. I interpreted it as a 'look at me' type of decision for whatever reason. Might sound like much to do about nothing but I bet I'm not the only one who watched this that will want to know why he wore what he did. It just looked kind of weird & obvious at the same time.
Overall he looked good. Very athletic & quick. Even though he is 297lbs he wears it like a big DE rather than a DT. David Pollock questioned his effort a few times but to be fair Pollock is a legend for UGA (Auburn's oldest rival) and was known for his effort non-stop. All the comments he made reflecting Tebow, Broncos, Fairley, and Newton I would take w/ a grain of salt.
Fox and Elway stood next to each other the entire time and the camera caught them often. They watched both Fairley & Newton attentively. A lot of teams left after Newton finished his scripted throws but I think I saw them still there.
