Official Game Day Thread: Week 10 2011 Broncos vs Chiefs

Well fellow Broncomaniacs, here we are once again.
PLEASE REMEMBER IS IS AN EARLY KICKOFF TOMORROW - NOT A LATE GAME

The good news is we have won 2 of our last 3 games with Tim Tebow.
It wasn't always pretty but a "W" is always good. I didn't think we looked too bad last week. The passing game still has issues but I think it was a bit better.

Tomorrow we have a chance to move into 2nd place with KC and SD, One game behind Okland who won on Thursday. Arrowhead is never easy for us.
In the last 16 years we are 16 of 32 vs the chiefs. We are 2-2 over the last two years. Of the 16 times we played them at Arrowhead we have only won 4 times, SO not so good at a 25% clip. At least it is not a December game there where we are 0-4 in the regular season over that same period.


Still the Chiefs have struggled some this year so we should have a decent chance if we can come together like last week and get a few good defensive stops. I hope Tebow continues to make progress. Last week I really felt we could see Fox and McCoy make a real effort to design the offense towards Tim's' Strengths.

As always hope for a good clean game with no injuries, especially with a Thursday night game ahead of us as well. Also please follow the Code of conduct and watch what you post here. There were several post last week where posters were trying to go around the profanity filters. If you see an issue report to the mods, there should be some here during the game to quickly respond.

this is one of the biggest games of the year for me (i live in missouri and have to listen to the Chiefs fans whine all the time).

unfortunately the Chiefs are coming off a horrible loss to the Dolphins and Tebow has never won back to back games in the NFL. Not to mention we have a very very hard time winning in KC. I see the Chiefs winning this one. I really hope I am wrong.

So, if the Broncos win 2 games in a row for the first time in ???, what will the doubters and naysayers have to say about Tebow's impact on the team and its wins.

And if, God Allow, the Broncos make it to the playoffs after so many "experts" said "You know, what? Who are we kidding, the Broncos aren't going anywhere--that's a good enough reason to put him in and see if they need to draft a QB next year.", how will anyone with a brain try to say Tebow doesn't inspire his teammates to play more inspired football?

Of course it's a team effort that allows them to win--but it's the same team that was losing before... except that now it's minus its (former) best receiver and with its best running back playing one-handed.

Oh, and a different QB.
