How many of the 5 sacks were coverage sacks or Tebow's inability to make the correct reads or hit open receivers.
Besides if McCoy is fired as so many fans want, will the next excuse be next season if Tebow struggles, will it be due to TEBOW getting use to the new Offensive Coord.?
I wish there was a ROFL emoticon here, because your quote was dead on hilarious.
But in all seriousness, I understand why he's not throwing them under the bus.
It's not a classy thing to do in front of the media.
If he has a problem with them, then tell them behind closed doors.
You don't accomplish anything by saying your teammates let you down big time.
I saw Tebow trying to escape alot of the sacks. It wasn't his fault if he had D-lineman in his face up the middle consistently.
Let's wait until that we get to that bridge.Besides if McCoy is fired as so many fans want, will the next excuse be next season if Tebow struggles, will it be due to TEBOW getting use to the new Offensive Coord?
I think Tebow would shine more if he had a OC who wasn't so ridiculously predictable.

How many more sacks did he escape from? He was constantly under duress from the 31st ranked defense.
If Tebow struggles under a new coordinator it shouldn't be because they called run in an almost predictable fashion regardless of down and distance and never really tried to stretch the field and showed no lack of creativity in play calling.
The Game Day Thread: Year 8. Now Playing!!!
Go Broncos
How many 3rd string QBs have taken on a 1-4 record and helped his team to the divisional champ game with less than a full season under his belt?
Who the hell do you expect him to be at this point in his career? Just chill a little and let the guy develop a little. If it doesn't work out, it does. If is does, then great.
Stop the emo 'can the QB already' sulking rubbish. Its pathetic. 9/26 is not getting a lot of throwing opportunities. Brees has over 61 today. He doesn't have the TE Brees and Brady have and today the pocket was a fragile balloon and the Oline were old women.
This is pretty much his 1st year and it was a damn good one for the team.
Anyway, cya in 9 months.
What's the final score?
The Patriots are a juggernaught. The short week did not look to have improved the Broncos chances, they were never really in the game at all. I did not see a single attempt at a screen pass with Tebow despite the pass rush all day long. This team has some work to do in the offseason. But it was a good run.

the latter mostly. he just doesnt see the field well. in the nfl (most of the time) you drop back, you have a few seconds, you read the field and unload it. it takes him way too long to recognize what is going on.
finding a new qb next year will not be a step back, since it is hard to imagine anyone else coming in and being worse.
yep, the broncos won some games this year. look at the score of most of them. defense kept the score low (other than one of the worst 3 teams in the nfl). other than pitt, they were all non playoff teams. 3 quarters of awful qb play kept those scores close. an average qb for 3 quarter may well have given them comfortable leads in those games.
the numbers he is putting up are not even nfl back up numbers.
there is enough talent on denvers roster to win a bad division next year with a mediocre thrower of the ball. heck, they went 8-8 with a fuy who completes 49% of his passes on a good day.
It's been a wild ride indeed, I'm hopping off the rollercoaster ....a little dizzy.....
See ya next season.
No one should be misled for one second by the fact that the Broncos made the divisional round. The Broncos racked up a minus 110 points net for the season - that's worse than the Bills, Redskins and Jaguars. It's even worse than the Browns and the Vikings. The Broncos were far from a playoff caliber team, despite the lucky tiebreak qualification (SD was the only West team half good enough for the playoffs) and the lucky home win against the Steelers with a hobbled Roethlisberger. Tim Tebow fulfilled expectations as an NFL QB - that is, he was terrible. The Broncos will go nowhere with him in the future - he could certainly develop as a passer, but he will also begin to decline as a rusher and will no doubt get hurt. The ownership should do like the Raiders did - consider this a failed season and make changes. Instead, they'll probably delude themselves that the team's mild success was not just luck, and as a result, the team will lose the chance to actually become competitive sometime in the future.

My favorite post on FB about yesterday was something about= "We should be focusing on what our Denver Broncos accomplished this season rather then what they didn't do today". I agree 100%
It was a helluva season. One I'm proud of. And, like Champ said, let's now focus on next year and getting better!
