Big fan of this original series and the new episode did not disappoint ....

With the unfortunate passing of Andy Whitfield and some other characters being replaced and new characters added to the storyline the cast is a little different but as they say the show must go on and I thought they did a great job at that and im really looking forward to watching the rest of this series ...

Certainly miss Andy Whitfield I thought he was all over that role ...

I thought new actor done a good job in playing the role my only complaint would be that he didn't look fluid in his fighting choreography .

Got to watch the episode on DirecTv channels 334 and 500 over the weekend.

It seemed to me like Liam tried too hard.
And he whispered quite a bit, while Andy always spoke with such confidence.

The scene where Crixus saw Lucretia, and vice versa, had me literally saying, "OH! It's on now!! She knows where Naevia is!" (Naevia is also played by someone new this season too....)

Looking forward to seeing Gannicus as well.

So, after 2 episodes, the new Spartacus is growing on me, slowly.

The plot now thickens with the return of Ashur. No Gannicus yet. And it will be interesting to see how the character of Tiberius/Nassir develops. I think down the road, he will be revealed to be Ashur's brother, because he said, "my brother called me Nassir."

It's starting to get interesting.....

It was good to see Glaber get some balls again.

His character was almost becoming sympathetic. And goodness knows we can't have that.

Ha ha. I was thinking the same thing. I was feeling bad for Glaber. Everyone was against him.

And the relationship with Agron and Nassir took a turn for the 'what the?'

Going to be interesting to see how Oenomaus will react to Gannicus once he comes to.

It's getting better, and we're not even halfway through!

But I will say that this season is really starting to get good. The begining started slow, but it has really started to get good. Loved the arena, but the only thing I could think of during that spear throw was 300 lol.

Darn. You're right. It's only 10 episodes. I thought it was 13 like 'Blood and Sand' was. But at least it's not only 6 like 'Gods of the Arena.' That was TOO SHORT.

There all to short they need like a 22 episode season and than I guess I could settle... Ok I'm a little greedy

Couple things about the last show.

Glaber is developing some SERIOUS cajones. I am liking his character more and more.

The Egyptian is a baaaaaaaad man. Killing guys with knives and showing no emotion at all. Gonna be a tough mother to take down.

Don't know if I like where theyre going with the Naevia character. I get it, just don't know if I like it.

I miss Andy. Liam isn't bad but honestly it seems like a lot of the focus of the show is being taken off Spartacus and I wonder if that's because Andy isn't Spartacus so he doesn't have the same impact as he did.

Yeah that Egyptian guy is a BA, and a Glaber is really starting to prove he is a worthy villian lol.

But only down side I felt that episode was extremely slow and really didn't have that much happen except in the last like 15 minutes of the show. (If even that) But not every episode can be great, just wish they were since there is only 10 episodes
